a small update to my film digitizer setup. one thing i found that slows my post processing of film is cropping before NLE conversion. with a film carrier fixed to the lens it makes cropping a batch operation vs an individual operation.
a few extras that i wanted to explore. a lens cage that allows me to do handheld digitizing vs tabletop digitizing. a dedicated lightbox powered by a standard Sony NP-FW50.

In this video we look at verifying the clearance of the rear baffle for Canon RF mount, Nikon Z mount, Sony E mount, and Fuji X mount cameras. Camera used in this video is a Canon RP. To negate the issue of the baffles you should use the electronic shutter mode so no mechanical shutter is released or actuated. Steps: 1. Turn on your camera. 2. Without a lens mounted fire the shutter to locate t...

AMAZING! do you have to have a LOMO LC-A for parts (lens and mechanism) also does your mount compensate for the crop? one last question, can you please create a micro four thirds mount print? thank you so much! this is what i've been wanting so bad and the official lomography art lens sucks compared to your amazing creation!
👌 Promo>SM
APS-C only 2 lens? can't use 3 lens sir?
CAN I ORDERR PLSSSS
Love the custom lenses you're making! Are you able to bring back the 3d lens :c
what's it for?
Cmera link sollunga pls😢
Fellow gameboy camera user I see 😎
Where do you put the flocking?
nice pcitures! I wanted to ask about the wiggle lens, do I have to find someone with a 3d printer and figure it out or do you sell them anywhere?
Negative, no more physical sales. After I failed with the whole thing, I only design and offer the files for printing. I can't handle production, after sales care, etc. I don't have the bandwidth for it. You'll have to find someone to print the files for you if you're not already involved or considering starting up 3D printing. Documentation can be found on the github: github.com/Archive-663/nishiKodak this is the original one. The newer version still needs a bit of documentation but the files are available for download.
@@georgemoua ah yea I can understand that. Unfortunate but understandable, maybe I'll try to fill that void if I ever get the chance :p Thank you so much for the link, you're a treasure!
This looks sick! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my nonsense videos.
Nice to see you here again. I hope you're well.
Hey! Only back for a little. I'm about as well as I can be. Hope you're doing well out there too! Been enjoying watching your work on instagram.
Nice Gameboy 😎😎👍👍
What would it be like with a 4k or 8k sensor (for ample pixel chip/chop room to stich in various ways into a 720 or 1080 image) using different arrangements, like traingulated lenses? NASA Langley has a 3 lasers system used to measure doppler shift in order to land on the moon. I'm thinking thats some high precision stuff. People always talk about traigulation in space or on a map, so with your cool lenses and concept married with high rez images that allow you to chop them up and transmit the data to a viewer where the device can render them for the observer with a variable perspective option. Maybe marry that up with a VR headset and that could be super cool! Essentially the gmaps street view camera ball, but maybe 1/4 of a ball and 3d printed to fit any hand held camera. Also, have you considered your 3-lenses model on kickstarter but perhapse widen the outer two lenses with side "antennae" (like on an ant) which is a hollow tube (maybe square or rectangular) with angled mirrors to widen the perspective and offer maybe a partial side-to-side 3d realism? Maybe feed it as a live video feed where the viewer could change their 2d perspective of a 2.5D video feed. Do these qualify as stupid (hopefully Fun) idea's? 🙃
print quality would drastically improve if you printed one by one instead of multiple on each bed. also the new cura arachne update might allow this all to print faster
Really? Why is that, haven’t heard that before
Can I participate in this project now....?
I dont understand, does the shot taken come out as 3 images and you have to splice them together?
it takes 1 image with 3 slightly different perspectives and then you have to cut them and edit them together
Hello man, this project is awesome and I'd like to make it on my own. I'd like to know if your designs will also work with a Fujifilm QuickSnap lens.
Loved the video, great photos, despite the title I hope you're doing well(as well as you can be)
Thanks, Connor! You've got it right, I'm doing about as well as I can. Appreciate you taking the time to watch and check in. Hope you're doing well too!
very easy watch. nice :)
Good to see you still playing with cameras. I still use your funsaver for fuji-x mount all the time. Hope all is well!
Logan! Things are about as well as they can be, considering. I'm glad you're still finding places to use the funsaver lens! Hope things are well, and hope your Jeep isn't giving you as much trouble as mine is (first gear in the 6-speed might be going bad. maybe the synchros)
This is a great video! I wish it was easier to find stuff like this on CZcams these days.
Nice shots. Something immensely satisfying about film photography, I think it’s in part the tactile experience of the shutter and manual film advance. The audio from this video gives me that feeling lol
Super interesting idea are the files available anywhere?
How to buy one?
Please made this restock againn
What is the current status? How do I get one of these for my Canon RF?
about the canon vr180 lens but with a twist! with a anamorphic sqweeze so it produces a sbs half frame 3d? on the same sensor! vr180 sucks 'couse the perspective is so far waway, and its good for vr but try filming a concert with it.Resolution on cameras its on the way up and up so such lens would be perfect for stereoscopic 3d .
Hey george! finelly put my hands on three fun savers, is there anywhere i can access / buy the STL file?
Never mind found it! Thanks ❣
cool i can imagine even more frames.
Ah dude you're making these all by hand! That's crazy, can't wait until these are available to us too late to the Kickstarter party. Good luck my man, they're such an awesome product
can I use different disposable camera's lens? like fujifilm simple ace or kodak daylight?
I think it has to be specifically the kodak fun saver lens, I've torn apart many other disposables and all of them have different lenses
Sorry for bringing this up, but I can't get my printer to print this cleanly enough, I'm on my seventh probably failing print again - I'm kinda new to this and it always looks... wiggely? I'm not sure. I guess this isn't really an issue with this tutorial, but printing general, but do you have some additional tips for printing? It seemed like a fun project (at first) to me (xd)
The gameboy webcam are so cool
Is it possible for you to make the similar wiggle lens for micro four thirds cameras like Olympus or lumix? Really appreciate it!
You could probably print an m43 adapter and then use this
So awesome! Can't wait!
Canon ae1 program and nikon d5300 work ?
Can’t wait!!!!!
Where can I buy your wiggle lens?
I couldn't make it to the stream but thank you for the consistency. The void is listening, nearly #100!
Don't talk yourself down dude, this project is amazing and I'm super proud to have backed it. Can't help but think I just watched the lense I ordered be made and trouble-shot I'm dead excited !
Are the STL files available for purchase? I would love to go through the process of building this myself!
Is there a plan for Nikon models?
Are you offering or selling the STL files anywhere? I don’t see them. Did you ever make this for canon R mount?
Hello, I´m interested in buying one, but I came late to the kickstarter
I am invested in this project, I plan to try it out with video. @George Moua could you possibly upload a small clip showing the focus and aperture ring in action? I need to decide if I need the first or second generation model of your lens
I’m also interested!
Hey is there still a way to buy one? Missed the kickstarter
Do you know the size of the kodiak lenses? Is it by chance 35mm?
This guy is so gangster. 🎞❤
