  • field testing two 3d printed viewfinders for the nikon f; a waist level finder & an eye level finder (using a canon ftb prism). reading through the the camera, the negative, & the print by ansel adams to understand how to see properly. also working my way through susan sontag's on photography which is especially prescient to today's social media environment and image consumption. these videos are partially to help me work through blocks and to understand how to see directly.

EDIT: funny story. when i was a kid, like six or seven, i was walking with my cousins in their neighborhood at night. they were walking a little bit a head and i got left behind. i started looking around to see where everyone was. i saw my shadow peaking out behind a fence, falling onto the sidewalk. in my kid brain it wasn't my shadow but a monster. so i just bolt home in a fright.
