Hi

@@OleRustyTractor for sure
Morning/afternoon lots of rain eh👍
Good morning Tyson. We are close to the same here.
@@jeremycherny2041 yup..was a good one
Hopefully it comes this way too. No measurable rain here since the begening of June. If it doesn’t come in the next 10 days then I hope it mostly stays away till harvest is done. Barley is starting to turn now so I’m not sure it will help it much now. Wheat and canola would be if it though I’m sure. Canola is just finishing up blooming. Surprised the heat blast wasn’t worse in it.
@poorfarmerlogger yea I was wishing it would have rained before the heat
Good to hear!!!
Ya Tyson we are getting heavy rain and winds, I'm not use to tarping hay pile in Alberta wind. We have about 2 inches of rain so far. Stay safe
75 mls of rain and bugs lol
@@darrellmilne6877 that's true
3” in 2 days shouldn’t pool. I remember as a kid we got a 3” rain in 1 hour lol
Depends on your soil
@wallyyuriy8912 in our heavy hard clay it will pool fir sure...but most of it is gone already...
@@Northern_Farmer ok. Our ground pretty hard too. When this dry. The water goes in the huge cracks.
Good stuff nice view
great job!!
Happy belated Birthday Tyson best of luck with your hay
Alfalfa was REALLY slow this year for 1st cut... basically had 1/2 of it knocked down before it was blooming becaues the grass was so far ahead and nice. Must have been a frost or from the cold temps in May stunted it. Starting 2nd cut now and the alfalfa is really solid with all the moisture.
Yes 100 percent...it was way behind
Happy belated birthday!!!!
Thank you!!
Happy belated birthday

Happy belated Birthday on the 5th of July mine was on the 7th. Thanks for the video.🇨🇦👌
Your welcome
Happy belated birthday
Belated happy birthday 🎈🎉🎂
Thank you!!
Sure like working up the pea stubble too. Really mellows out the soil it seems. Guess the roots must add a lot of fibre and go down deeper to fracture up the soil. Our sweet clover crops really bust up the soil, works well for a long time afterwards.
Same with canola...always remember canola stubble being easier to work then cereal
@@Northern_Farmer I’ve never grown the yellow devil. Lol. Only grow things I can feed cows in case things goes sideways, but I can see what you mean. Looks like a good stalk and root system.
You had lots of open space to move the equipment and get it all....even the ditches by the road you could of put down....takes very little more time and you will get a few more bails which is a few hundred more dollars.
I love the handheld drone footage. A belated happy birthday Tyson
Haha thanks...I barely use my drone...it's the older big one...they are so small now
Happy Birthday to you , hope it was a good one….
Yes, thank you
Thanks, Tyson! It's an odd year - been so hot and dry! Hopefully you get the crops off without too much trouble!! And a Happy Birthday to you yesterday! 😀
Yes to hot now without rain...kinda have premature ripening on some crops
