    Your timing for digging out the dug out was perfect. Hopefully the newly deeper dug out holds through dry and wet years. Best of luck.

    Same problem. Ran out of water, dug a couple holes a month ago, but this 3 inches of rain filled them a third up. So I could quit pumping water out of a muskeg lake into troughs once a day. Always a fight of some sort. They have lots of grass there so I was reluctant to move them.

    If a crane hits a high power line the worker on the ground gets electrocuted and the operator is usually ok. At the museum of science in Boston Ma.if your hit by lightening there is a thing called the cage effect, as long as you don’t reach outside the cage you will not be electrocuted. In your case the cab is your cage, so if you ever hit a power line stay inside the cab.

    • @puirYorick
      @puirYorick Před rokem +2

      Yes. A Faraday cage. If the equipment (hoe) is properly grounded then all that metal is to its advantage in carrying a lightning strike safely to earth without harming anyone/anything within the cage. It's safer than being on foot nearby.

    Thanks for the video, Tyson. That's a good looking pond and should really help water the cattle. You dug it at a great time before the rain came. I think that getting out of the excavator when there is lightning nearby is a good idea! Pretty powerful stuff! Have a great week! 😀

    Rain, what's that?? So damn dry here, the weeds don't even want to grow..

  • @davidporter9556
    @davidporter9556 Před rokem

    U need to try to divine for water. I can do it I just use weldin rods. Bend them over. Just hold them slack in ur hands an walk about wer u think Ther cud b spring an if they cross over it shud b a spring. But with me the rods spin like helicopter an if they just cross it’s normally a water pipe. That’s the best way to test if u can do it. Go to somewer wer u no tber is a water pipe an walk over it an if they cross u can do it. Not everyone can do it. I am the only one in my house can do it
