Thanks for the trip, Peace River Country are wery nice. Good looking crops this far. I did travel all the way up to High Level and back in 1990. That was a wonderful journey.
Thank for the video, Tyson - great to see what's going on in the area around you. Makes for a relaxing time to go for a road trip and enjoy looking around! Happy Canada Day to you and the family😀
Awesome video Tyson, hope the crops are doing great. Make some more videos of cruising around chatting and looking at the beautiful northern Alberta scenery, I really enjoyed it and miss Alberta.
ever place does there black top roads different texas grinds and piles works the ground under with lime or concret and uses the old ground asflut on top with new tar. . kansas heat there and pulls to middle of lane , adds tar repaly
Thanks for taking me a long Tyson another awesome video looking forward to seeing more you should do an equipment tour that would be awesome cheers to you my friend
Canola as silage can test nearly as well as grain . A few years back I tubewrapped rounds that were nearly 1000 kg . The crop was frosted at flowering .
I just took a trip back home to GP, from Florida last week. Went to visit a small rancher buddy from Valleyview area and the drive from GP to Vview was showing real late crops. The canola wasn’t out of the ground for very long and was definitely pale yellow.
Thanks for the crop tour. I briefly worked one winter in the Peace country in the early 90’s. I was amazed at the beauty of the place. I’d love to see it again.
In my area of central Alberta they do tar the cracks in the roads. But they started to only fill the small ones and leave all the big cracks to break out the roads. Yet when the guy measures with the measuring wheel the cracks they fill to know what to charge the government. They always measure the big cracks they never filled.🙄
With the weather patterns changing now i can see it being a real challenge in the future for farmers .Unfortunately a lot of farmers anywhere close to Toronto are selling off their land for development . Doesn’t help either that the government has decided to build the new hwy 413 on prime farmland
The crops look really well from the drive by on the road. Seems very little in the way of any sort of livestock on your trip? Canola production in Europe has all but totally collapsed due to the authorities banning the use of a pesticide treatment for cabbage stem flea beetle as it allegedly kills off bees. Dan
The removal of gravel from rivers here in NZ is the same but as rivers flood more gravel is deposited along the river banks and flooding gets worse so if some gravel was removed it would help in flood prone areas, I'm no expert but a bit of common sense regards gravel removal would help and leave less scares on the landscape.
Hey Tyson alberta. I'm getting rid of some equipment and steel. I used to rent out bombardiers. I'm looking to get rid of a lincoln SA200 welder would you be interested. Like a farmer use it than it go to scrap. Get ahold of of me through email.

UK roads don't last 6 months. Good stuff
Good savings on those supplies you needed
Seen a few fields of wheat putting up heads yesterday over by Fairview. Crops look good our way too.

Usually when they measure it out...that's Crack filling with the rock tar mix...and fir some reason they do that a year or 2 before repaving
You better get a new windscreen we would get a big fine for having a cracked screen cheers Bundaberg Australia
That’s a straight road nice

When has governments ever had common sense? LOL!
Good commentary during your drive. How long were those netwrap rolls? They looked long, but may have just been the camera angle.

I get a kick out of people saying they won at an auction.
They actually were willing to pay more than anyone else was not sure if that’s winning???
Well won the item I guess lol
Tyson at an auction you are willing to pay more than anyone else in the world . that isn't winning . lol
It's nice when you want things more than anyone else.
But it's the satisfaction that you beat the other guy with money lol
If you were in europe you would have passed through 2 or 3 countries...
Haha yup
Just wondering if that was a Peace River valley bridge you crossed over or not? Thanks.
Yes it was.. well the peace river yes
@@Northern_Farmer Nice drive, looked like you actually crossed the Smoky River at Watino.
@@Northern_Farmer okay. 👍
@glennheath6150 your are correct...that's what I mentioned to say

How many bales can you get from a roll of net wrap?
I can get around 250 to 270
Buyers fee of 15 percent sometimes. Same your way???
Yes..but depends on how much you spend...I think it's 12 percent under 5000
I like the Trump ad before your video.
