LOVE the dress with the fascinator type hat: dress is super cute, too. The “butt cape” was actually probably pinned up for the reception. A couple of these would look so cute with white with gold trim cowboy boots. You looked so good in that hat!

First one is 70’s for sure! I was in high school then, but had I found my man in the 70’s I would have bought it for sure!

The very small, shorter dress with no tags that you thought was 20/30’s…it is absolutely from the 1970’s, absolutely no doubt. The one after it with that long train? Pretty sure it’s 60’s. The only one that is “vintage” I would say is the pink and white party dress, which was from 40’s or 50’s I would say. That one is the find of the day for sure!

The 2nd one would be perfect for Halloween. Tea dye it, could remake into a puritan whichy style The first one, id get it cleaned and could use for an actual wedding. So pretty

So much fun to watch, I bought the most lavish bridal gown I have ever seen at a thrift store for $12.99. I have it displayed in my bedroom.

I was at a thrift store last week, saw several beautiful wedding gowns very inexpensive. There was a whole rack of them along with prom dresses, with some that still had the original tags. My 12 year old Granddaughter found a dress she thinks she wants for her 13th birthday next year. She says she wants a formal birthday party when she turns 13. I told her that we will wait until a closer date because she will grow between now and then. We will be going to thrift stores to look for sure when the time comes. I've been going to thrift stores for over 40 years, they always have beautiful dresses. It's a shame to see them not being used. Those dresses looked so pretty. I love the 50's style dress at the end.

What I want to say is that this is textile history. Museums have shows of wedding dresses throughout history. One day, just think ladies, your wedding dress could be in a museum.

The first gown is gorgeous. Take off the ribbon belt and try one of the new diamante ones and the skirt might benefit from a not too full crinoline.

My dress in 1969, Camelot style, was so heavily beaded, it obliterated my bosom. I had to wear a stiff corset to lift the beading off the chest. It was gorgeous.

Ahh good, a rebel canner not assigned to the Karen Canning Police Brigade. Have you tried dried chickpeas? I pressure canned some using the "official" way but the texture is very strange, kinda velvet but not great, also a lot of starch was pulled out. Love to hear any tips. Im in the U.K where absolutely no one has a clue about canning.

love to see these videos of you trying all these gowns on. 60 years ago I let my sister-in-law store my gown in her house but when I asked her to return it to me she always had some excuse why she couldn't get it out. to this day I do not know what she did with it. her dogs probably tore it up or she sold it and kept the money. I'm very new to growing stuff especially in the UK and it is to do for a non-for-profit little group called 444 and I wanted to say I am amazed at the bees because here in the UK they have killed billions of them by Kim trailing spraying and you can even see on the plants that they are turning like a rusty colour or deep red meaning that the poison from the chemicals of what their spraying into the atmosphere that we are breathing is settling onto the ground when phenomenal amount of rain due to the chem trading which is called cloud seeding no I just wanted to tell you to look into this because it is a fact and a lot of growing products are dying because of their too many slugs and so on here in the UK I hope that whenever you made this video I'm hoping it was the CS I can see at least there are some bees left but treasure them because they are going to be extinct within 3 years from now guaranteed that is the plan to exterminate bees bumblebees starting from that type of the ecosystem into the food chain so we become beholden to the globalist I am very very awake in all of this and it is quite scary because our children are going to be eating from artificial intelligence horticultural in fact I don't even know what you call it cos it's AI intelligence will be feeding us .. Ice-skating dresses are expensive! That’s a fabulous idea to modify one of those into a skating dress! And it could be dyed a different color, if so desired. Edited to say that I loved the last dress! Y’all have so much self-control. I would want to buy all of them! I have an unnatural affection for wedding dresses!
