I was accidentally bitten by my 8kg Jagdterrier in my fingers, it was the most painful thing I ever experienced. She bit right into the bone. As soon as she realised it was me she was biting she let go.

Do you guys train people's dogs at their homes, or would we need to bring our puppy to you ?

I find these kind of people laughable. I grew up around dog training because my Mom was all about it. We had our own full service facility. My Mother started her whole career with dominance theory based off wolf studies. Seen her get slammed just like this by the Karens online. Recently I rescued a 2 yr old now neutered rottie. Great friendly personality, but had a lot of bad habits his original family didn't know how to deal with. I've had a few people tell me not to get a prong for him. Here I am 3 months later able to loose leash walk him on his nylon collar. Anyways, love your videos. Hope you get another Rottie client, that's the video that brought me to your channel! ❤ Also, given your background from what I would consider tip of the spear level animal training, it's hard to really argue with that. 😂

How can you train a deaf dog to come? I've got a Labrador/Dalmation mix that's deaf, so far we're working with a long leash but I'd like to have the opportunity to let her run without a leash at least in a big fenced in area and have her come to me when I want her to.

This is a very well spoken and intelligent young man. My view on his training has turned me around because he "gets" dogs body signals and understanding of dogs psyche that has helped me understand my Auggie breed that I did not get until now and how to teach me to understand and train my dog

FYI In most places in Canada and USA, to take a dog from an owner, owner needs to surrender it OR a court order is needed if they refuse. Thats why animal control will ask the owner to surrender.

I really enjoyed this video. I have been around dogs for most of my life. I currently work at a dog boarding / daycare facility and I'm interest in becoming a dog trainer. Do you have any advice? What are the necessary steps ?

12 dogs…. Unless your whole work week is dedicated to training the dogs then you can’t train all the dogs to a good standard and you can’t manage the group dynamics and socialization. So even if your first 5 dogs were trained well the last few rotten apples could incite the good dogs to violence getting caught up in a pack instinct and the dogs protecting eachother from a perceived (!) threat. I say perceived because kids and a mom aren’t a real threat to 12 dogs.

question: With thousands of dogs on death row that many have wonderful temperaments why work with one like this? If you are keeping her I understand but how do you put this dog into the world to be managed? What qualifications do you expect a person to possess to take her? A dog that threatens violence or commits violence that you "save" puts a well tempered one at risk, don't you think?

the dogs do not doing a game with you - they are fidgeting out of fear. but i am sure you do not even know what that is. it is all about violence in your attitude. it is all about "or else".

when she did not come: your voice was more like "do not dare to come". you MAKE the dog slow. you MAKE the dog avoid you. such a bad way.

that dog is leaving because she is in fear. she wants to get out of your space because you are all like exploding soon. control your choleric energy on such a cooperative dog! you have a sharp aggreasive voice all the time when you want something. your commands are a punishment per se. what a bad way of training.

you make this dog nuts!!!! the dog is a bit excited and he is in fear of you. you are a threat !!!! bad bodylanguage - if you want the dog to stay, move in a way that the dog is not feeling like giving you space!!!! you are so unaware of anything. your whole life is about being superior. being alpha... even the come is threatening in your voice. like "or else". what a silly way to train - it is like putting up a fight.

I had 3 great helper dogs that just naturally had that role How do I find that again 1- friends with everyone 2- like Prince dominate and will correct but not fully harming 3- The protector, the warrior , tank - when he bites he made that creature bleed…. But it was to protect from a dangerous- after a ward

I wouldn’t shame the owners I’d shame you because first of all you keep saying the dog has to lose you talking about him like a person he say he’s a bully but the dog is a dog and that’s not how you train them. Positive reinforcement works way better than negative reinforcement.
