Would these mix with variates platy?

As someone who lives in a really dry climate, so I exclusively use rimmed tanks with glass lids, I like the design of the Chihiros. It's more accommodating. The rendering of the LED Star was awesome, though, and it seems like you can't really go wrong with either one. With that being said, I purchased a Week Aqua P series from Aqua Rocks Colorado lol but that's because the measurements means it should fit perfectly under the wood canopy for my 75 gallon.

I don’t agree. I used both Chihiros WRGB II Pro and Twinstar S-IV series. Twinstar is much better than Chihiros in a long term run. Chihiros is more customizable, but its spectrum / brightness / power output makes algae grow better than plants. IMO Twinstar is the king of lights for larger high-tech aquascapes.

Oase has air bubbles problems and can’t use it in a planted tank. Most of the injected co2 gets lost.

What’s the best solution for air bubbles?

I got rid of mine today by using Aqueon algae remover. I had a new tank. It worked so good. You can use what ever you want, but for ten dollars it worked wonders . Please try. Two drops. Amazing

bought one of these on amazon,didn't connect the hose for bubbles,ran it continuously for about 7-8 days and water is perfectly clear, and still clear. Actually, I have 2 - 10 gallon tanks that I ran it all the time for 6-7 days and it cleared up the foggy water in them too. The reason I decided to run continuously in the tanks is there is no on and off button on the unit or the cord, so if you want to turn it off/on you have to pull the plug,or plug it in. Best $37.00 I spent, because I tried so many other ways to get rid of green or cloudy water. thanks for the heads up on this device,I give it a 2 thumbs up or more.

I wish I knew about using the latches to take the top off when I cleaned my 307 a couple weeks ago. Everything is all good though. Much obliged.

I think the manufacturers get those umbers with just the pump and no lift height. (Hose length) It’s ok though…….The Biomaster has other features that make it still worth having.

I recently installed a Biomaster 350 Thermo on a new 45 gallon not too long ago. It’s sooooo quiet. I like it so far.

Flow is rated at the nozzle of the pump, hence the lower results.

Yea I've noticed the always drop off but thr tanks do stay healthy. For extra flow I use a wave maker. I let the filter be a filter and produce the bacteria the system needs, and use the wave water to add the extra flow. Otherwise such large canister filters would need to be used to no real gain in end results. That's my thoughts anyway. I don't keep heavily stocked tanks it must be added.

I’ve had my Eheim pro II ,and Pro 3e cleaning my 210 gal tank since 2005, and they are fantastic. My 22 year old Red Belly Pacu agrees they give him a happy home. Had to replace 1 impeller and just now a second time, that’s it.

They have a new pre filter tube that is a dark grey color with many more holes and it has a bigger inside diameter than the old clear tube.

Great video... A little out of my price range but still a great video. I think you got it right with the shorter length light when you use it for a concentrated area of the tank and NOT the entire area. This would apply opposite for the full length light as well. You would want the full length of your plants are taking up the full substrate area, not just a corner section.

Sorry to disagree but I have an Eheim Professional that I've had for a long time and it is terrible. Always has been. It is one of the older models without the self priming button. It has two cut offs on the input and output. It is truly terrible. Never works. Badly designed. Doesn't self prime after a power cut, difficult if not impossible to get going again after I clear it. Often stops working, and makes a heck of a lot of noise. The cheap plastic parts often break and you need to buy spares. Good luck finding spares. Do not buy Eheim. Ever. They are not quality products. They are outdated, redundant, pathetic, useless garbage. Better to get an Oase Biomaster external cannister, or a Sechem Tidal HOB filter.
