Had really poor luck with the glass + acrylic skimmer sets. Really hit or miss on functionality without the adjusting rod at the top. Interested how that aquarocks skimmer is doing or if you still even use it.
I took that tank down so its not being used right now. The issue with that one is the water level, but if you have a auto water topper you are good. But overall I’ve been told by a few ppl that metal even stainless steel will rust in our planted tanks. So I’ll use it again and see how that goes once I move my home. But for me I still like the look of glass. Its just sexy. 😁 hey u never know I might change my mind too but right now Im feeling these

You reminded me I need to get those. But right off the bat, neo is flexible and made of acrylic vs these fzone glass pipes. Tbh I like the look of the fzone but the neo would be harder to break.

I was looking at this set today. I was hoping to find a spin outlet in the same size. I noticed you have a Betta in the shallow. How is he with the increased flow of the Lilly? Good thing about living here in Japan is that I can hit up ADA for cheap 😂
@@TankTastic I got both my FZone and Aquario Neo Flow pipe sets in today. I will be using the fzone inlet and neo outlet in conjunction with a neo mixer for the CO2. 2 skimmers with a spin outlet. Looking forward to seeing how it works.

I havent used it in the better yet. I’m in the process of moving so I’m packing up all of my canister filters. But I’m not worried because canisters always have flow adjustment knobs.

I assume this won’t work for a fluval canister filter ? The 107 to be exact ?
You can, but you would need to get some attachments that goes from the larger fluval fitting to the smaller size that this pipe requires.

Can I adjust the lily pipe so it can have air agitation like hang on back filter? Cause I’m not using air pump
Its sucking water from the surface so similar to agitation, which helps gas exchange
So it means I don’t need oxygen pump if I have that? I’m new to this hobby :)
Well, if you have plants in the tank then that helps too. But yea you probably dont need a oxygen pump.

I always have a backup paintball tank in case. If not then mix some sugar and yeast and that should last a week.
