Redesigning The Miami Grand Prix Circuit
zhlédnutí 23KPřed 21 dnem
The Miami Grand Prix sucks. We all know it. And it's ironic that the race with the most over-the-top show off-track, is the worst race on-track. So let's fix it. There are three features a track needs to have to be good for racing F1 cars, and we'll use those to create a much better layout whilst still being within the realistic confines of the car park that the track is built on. #JakeMorgan #...
Why Adrian Newey Left Red Bull (What's Next?)
zhlédnutí 1,9KPřed měsícem
Red Bull Racing have just confirmed that Adrian Newey will be LEAVING the F1 team in 2025. Adrian Newey is the most successful person in F1, ever. 25-time champion (soon to be 27…) in the sport, and over 200 race wins. After 18 years - what made him decide to jump ship? It was more than just the Christian Horner scandal. And which team will he end up going to next? Aston Martin or Ferrari? #Jak...
What Liberty Media’s Takeover of MotoGP Means For F1
zhlédnutí 3KPřed měsícem
Liberty Media, the owners of F1 just announced their takeover of Motorcycle Racing's Premiere class - MotoGP. But will it be bad for the sport? And what will it do to Formula 1? Well, Liberty Media has done an incredible amount for F1 in the 8 years it has owned the sport, and I think that history will repeat itself with MotoGP. But that doesn't mean there aren't knock-on effects for F1. So let...

How Oliver Bearman Will FIX Haas’ Problem

We saw the rise of a new F1 rookie at the 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. He's proved his worth, but what team should hire him for 2025? Haas seems like the most obvious option, and I believe he can do something similar to what Niki Lauda did at BRM in 1973. But what problem does Haas have? Why can Ollie Bearman fix it? The REAL reason Tsunoda was angry at the Bahrain GP

They insist on including shitty urban GPs, but there are great circuits that could return, like Sepang, Nurburgring or Hockenheim, and others like India or South Korea, and maybe you can alternate them, have them run in the opposite direction or recover old routes (like Hockenheim) but they only care about money.

Kyalami is an old-school track with gravel and no runoff areas. - There is a lot of elevation change. - The track is at an altitude of 1500m. - In the past, the racing was in the summer which can have changeable conditions

More times than not recently, i’ve tended to switch to something more interesting, when I get so bored by it. Unpopular opinion: have 10 tracks with the most tradition that are locked in the racing calendar (like Monaco , suzuka, monza,..) and than we got 20 tracks that are rotating (giving a total of 20 races). Its a win win. Tracks like nurburgring or Hockenheim arent in the racing calendar because they couldn't afford the licencing fees. But if they have to pay it only onece every two years, a race would be much more affordable. Also it would bring much more variety into every season.

Totally agree with you. I'm so bored watching Red Bull dominate in a non-competitive field in F1 where other teams can't innovate due to budget caps and draconian rulebook. WEC is far more exciting racing and I love the way each manufacturer has their own idea and how their hypercar has elements of their roadcar designs. For example, I can look at a BMW hypercar and KNOW it's a BMW because of its shape, not just its livery. That makes for better manufacturer identity as well.

Dude doesn't understand F1. It's not like IndyCar,NASCAR or WEC. It's about engineering rather than manufacturers. And either you appreciate that or you don't. Cause there are plenty of racing series less focused on engineering, loopholes and freedom of design (even in limitation due to regulations). What your video does is try and turn F1 into IndyCar which would kill the sport entirely. You can't turn IndyCar into F1 either. So with your complaints watch IndyCar it seems to be up your alley more than F1. Which is fine both are great. But it's insultive to try and change F1 into IndyCar which all your points amount too. Just watch IndyCar Mate.

I’ve been watching F1 for a decade now so I do understand F1 completely - and the level of research I have to do for each of these videos is much more than most people would do in a lifetime. But that aside, I actually totally agree with you - F1 is not gonna change much and nor should it - these videos aren’t my opinions, these are based on fan sentiment and really a call to action for people who are complaining to go and watch WEC. There are things I personally think F1 could change, but that’s just my opinion, it’s not fan-based data which these videos are built upon. Not hate, just information. Thanks for watching mate - what did you think of the Monaco GP?
