Hey for getting rid of old adhesive you might try Goo Gone. I haven’t used it much on cars, but the stuff works like a charm for removing sticky, hard to scrape off old adhesive

while you are sending this car off to paint, you should send the black rings around the lights on the 997 with it to get painted to match the rest of the car.

Have had ants in cars sitting on the showroom floor before. Not uncommon. Probably odorous house ants, or acrobat ants. They both move in quickly to anywhere they can find a potential harborage. Glad to see more bmw content. Any update on the e30??

At about the 13:45 part it looked like the car puked the engine through the bumper, which is oddly close to reality.

Ants are the worst, I was moving some firewood and reached in to grab a piece of wood, only it was not wood it was a fire ant colony!! Thank god I had gloves on but what a disaster. That paint job is a 60 footer lol

I understand that every part of a BMW is marked for recycling at end of life, so they must have made it easy to take the plastic and rubber bits off. I hope you put some ant traps in the car! That really is gross, I would have given up immediately.

Hopefully you turn the aggressive look this car needs, as it is it's kinda wimpy looking on the front end, the wheels are sissy looking. The whole thing needs to be on steroids but thats just me.
