You used a Terry jumper kit to connect the treble and mid-bass speaker outputs. bridge ,,,or --Original serafino jumpers --speaker mounting plates....What would you recommend...Thanks for the work you are doing..

I just love the Mission speaker sound. I have a pair of 700s in black after my daft dad gave my original 700 pair to a charity shop. Needless to say he walked back past the charity shop window five minutes later and they were already gone.

Pops and tics are the nature of vinyl, even when cleaned and static free, thus I have abandoned vinyl for High Resolution Apple Music, which completely satisfies with its very lifelike sound.

Superb video. They would perform even better in a bigger room, that is, more away from (reflective) walls. These make me remember the great Ohm Walsh F speakers.

Its important to note that the Essence Pre and the previous Zena Preamp are the SAME preamp, just in new case work. Check the specs if you want to double check.

I may have lost my last comment, but I'll certainly reiterate: I don't think I'd e v e r leave that gorgeous room. It's simply sky-high fabulous. Nothing's perfect, but this attempt suffices, as far as I'm concerned... sublime. AND, an edit: And I'm NOT listening for perfection, I WOULD simply swoon in that sumptuous EFFORTLESSNESS.

I really like the German Physiks speaker products and with them I ended up searching for better speaker equipment. Thanks to Holger Müller and team making these unique speakers! Really wondering why they are not more popular. Great emotional video about this technical artwork.

Hi. Nice review. How about updating now that we have an integrated parametric EQ on the Eversolo? One more thing, has anyone come across freezing of the Eversolo to the point you have to switch it off and then back on? It has happened to me. I would appreciate any insight about this. Thanks.

You've fallen into the trap of mass. Sound travels very well through mass. Eg sonar. A very light, stiff platter is all you need. Modern electronics can spin a platter accurately

I'm 60 now, been collecting vinyl since I was 7, I love the sleeves, and the fun of collecting, but you know why I'll always prefer CD's, blu ray audio etc? Way better channel separation. As for static, can't say it's something I suffer badly from, but I bought an arc rechargeable lighter for 6 quid, and if a record is sticking to an inner sleeve a little, this gets rid of it.

Tried the Mini but was limited by both inputs and outputs! Did notice on Spotify as difference in both spatial and high end definition! When listening to reed instruments the breath sounds came through on a few recordings. Ended up with the WiiM Pro Plus and am quite happy! I also bought through Kickstarter the new Mono Fosi monoblocks (2) with the single 48volt 5amp power supply! I use a pair of Chartwell LS3/5a’s from 1978 and a pair,of IMF TLS 80’s which are 4-8 ohms. from the same period. I’m hoping that they can be driven by the Fosi as the Chartwell are 15ohms. I’ll just wait and see as Fosi said shipping starts in June this year. For $US 223.00 with shipping for the pair of amps and one power supply it could be a bargain to say the least for an amp output,of 240watts @ 4 ohms and 120watts at 8ohms. Even more power if you buy the 48volt 10amp power supply.

Huge respect to audiophools everywhere who are able to discern the wonders of such systems over CZcams (and who will never get any closer than that to such systems). OK, I'm being sarcastic.

Linton 85 is sizeable. Dovetale is big. But, not unreasonably big :) Can't wait for Erin to review these, and see how they compare to Linton 85/Heritage! But it will be a hard swallow, at 2.5-4x the cost of Linton 85/Heritage. 25Hz, NICE!!! I prefer full range speakers, with NO sub.

Hy Terry. Thanks for your review of the Elysian 3 . There are not a lot of reviews of the 3 and in shop near I live I can hear only the Elysian 4. 2 questions: Did you have the chance to compare the Elysian 3 to the 4? Do you have heard the Canton Reference 5 against the Elysian's? Thanks René

Hot no, warm yes, it is important to ensure that all components can be ventilated/cooled. I find that Leema equipment only gets better over time. Those big amps/caps -headroom make for fast responses when watching suspenseful sound tracks on movies/TV shows. Jump factor = 10 (IMO) :) Out of interest what amp is in your system today @PursuitPerfectSystem ? Out of interest can any class D amps even touch the 'speed' of class A/B?

Hi Terry, another great review, I’ve talked to Karma Av and I am trying to sort a date to go down and see and hear their systems, I am going completely in wall so not worried about aesthetics, so looking at perlisten R5 speakers, but been told there bringing out a larger centre channel the same as on the S range. Or a Ascendo system with 12” speakers for the sides and a 10” or 2 x 6” drivers for the centre, using 2 x SVS SB 16 for the base. What’s your thoughts thanks

He's a very good presenter .so good that it illustrates the hair splitting differences that audiophiles listen for. this is fine if that's what is interesting to a person but the tendency then becomes to listen to separated individual sounds at the expense of a fully immersive experience where the individual sounds , the sound stage , airiness , highs ,mids , lows , all disappear into a blended whole that is the mysterious thing we call music. some of my favorite listening experiences , outside of the live performance , came form a late 1960s $300 stereo system . The system provided about ten percent of the input while the brain provided the remaining level of joy . yes , it MIGHT have sounded even better with a top notch systems , but ?

I've had one from last year I love it my only issues is the manufacturer has already given up and moved on to other things. No updates in sight haven't had one since new
