You are legally required to have a tuba involved in your music at all times. Still, you didn't have the classic double-bass problem of getting washed over in the rest of the mix.

First time I've seen them playing with a string bass instead of tuba. And i didn't even realize there was someone back playing the piano until they took a solo. You all really brought this Jelly Roll Morton song to life.

I always liked the original recordings of early jazz, but not so much the Dixieland bands of the various revivals over the decades, for the most part. I like your relaxed approach. Not to be dogmatic about it, but I think being and sounding relaxed is one of the most important things in any performance. Thanks!
