WHY I FLEW BACK TO SAN DIEGO FROM BANGKOK THAILAND
From your POV, is it easy for Indonesian like me to move permanently to Serbia? No visa needed to visit Serbia for Indonesians & am really interested in moving to Serbia 🙏✌️
I would like to contact Sandra.
Even in those gloomy places that look straight out of a horror movie, you would be safe. In the US, these places would be full of homeless people, junkies, rapists, robbers... Thanks for showing how safe Serbia is.
Thanks
I want to relocate there, but from Africa,so I was looking for job,but getting an employer is hard.
I would seriously recommend going to the US through Mexico right now. I think you'll be better off there then in the Balkans until you are making good money. Best of luck!
Can you send Sandra contact
Sandra’s contact is the paid booking link in the video description. Due to the amount of people booking but not serious about moving she now has to charge for the initial consultation to filter those people out.
This video was amazing and very informative! Definitely very helpful in the terms of what to expect. Thank you for sharing it with your audience.
Hi Brad, your videos are very helpful. At the end you mentioned a "special zone" in Krusevac where your acquittance pay 130 US$ tax. Can you provide more info on that please? Thankis in advance.
I think you are confusing what I said about Entrepeneur flat tax system being lower cost in low-income cities such as Krusevac vs Belgrade for some industries with the Krusevac Special Economic Zone which may not be useful to you if you don't import/export from the EU: www.srbija.gov.rs/tekst/en/130037/free-zones-.php

@@bradbeckett thanks
Serbia looks really pretty, and the love of my life is from there and I can't wait to visit. However I'm from San Diego, California and I love the weather here and I'm a studying Marine Biologist in college, so land-locked countries are a big No for me. I love the beach and the ocean and we have the BEST beaches here in my opinion (as someone studying Marine life).
No offense but marine biology in San Diego is kinda played out. I’d recommend looking into moving to Micronesia, French Polynesia, or somewhere tropical to study marine biology. Some atoll that hasn’t been nuked in the pacific perhaps.
Hi, this video is very useful for people like me who also interested to move to Serbia. I am an IT professional, may I know how's the demand of IT people there in Serbia? I am software QA. Thank you.
The best idea is to already have your own clients and setup a company here to issue invoices from instead of seeking local employment. This gets you a residency permit, insurance, and on a pathway to permanent residency.
I have just 1 very important question, are there Brazilian steakhouses there?
I know electronics work can do all computer related service if anyone think hire me I will work salary is your choice I am in Kuala Lumpur
Great video
Thanks!
Hey Brad I'm coming there next week. How can we get in touch? I don't know anyone there. Cheers
I’m living in Kruševac now not Belgrade so meeting is unlikely unfortunately. Just go around town speaking English and people will be nice to you. Check out clubs such as Warehouse, stay in hostels vs hotels, get a local SIM, and get CarGo it’s like Uber.
@@bradbeckett Thanks man. I will probably be around Nis. Wasnt talking about a meeting, more like an email address or something. Thought we could make a refugee solidarity team. I'm Hellene living in the U. K.
Great video! Thanks for your input !!
So after living in Serbia with temporary residency I will receive perm residency and can apply for citizenship? How long it would take from perm to citizenship? Will it slow whole process if I will live in Serbia lets say 200 days per year instead of full year?
Hello, Brad. All of your videos are very informative, and I will probably watch them at least two or three times. I'm planning to go to Belgrade for a visit first and planning to move there and start a business. I lived and worked in China for 7 years, and for the last 2 years I have been working in Thailand. in one of your videos You also mentioned Thailand, so I assume that you have been there or you have worked when you were in Thailand. So if you have some time, I would like to meet with you and talk about some business opportunities. or we don't have to talk about business, We can just meet up for coffee/ tea and exchange some ideas. Thanks for the videos. Have a good day. (How can I reach u btw?)
Was your employer paying into Thailand social security on your behalf? If so, I recommend continuing to pay the ~$15 USD per month to keep your Thai health insurance if you are eligible. Join this Facebook group for more information: facebook.com/share/x9eoPHXkvC3cKQbU/?mibextid=K35XfP
I live in Canada and apartment rental prices ate sky hi. I'm actually Serbian and im going back as soon as possible. Thank you for grate video and even better for talking good about Serbia. It's much cheaper to live in Serbia instead in Canada yet food is better 10x times than in Canada.❤️🕊️🌍👌👍.
can't you attach microphone to your clothes so that you don't have to hold it - you're coming in loud and clear
It's all good!
It is amazing to see that you love Serbia. I love the apartment. It is modern and you have everything in it. I am thinking of visiting Serbia. How can I contact you to learn more about retirement in Novi Sad or Novi bazar.
The USA have been attacking various countries , including Serbia.
2:14 Sandra is softly dropping the hints to Brad for a ring. HA!
The same story in Belarus, people complain about the wages, yet they are dressed better than me
Great video. I am definitely thinking of moving to Serbia. Love your apartment. Thanks. Do you have an update for 2024?
Wow what great tips. I want to move to Serbia. Thank you!
If you go the citizenship route then you might get called up for military service, especially looking like you. This needs to be considered.
Perfect 🪖👌
Don't spread missinformation. Military service is not mandatory, its voluntary.
Hello, I'm looking for information about places to rent too. Can you share websites where I can research? Can you find something in between 200-300€?
Pitty that you did not make the market lady earn hundred Dinnars more off of you. Sadly, but, that's what language barrier looks like. When you showed her 120 on your phone, and were unsure of the price, she answered . That much, that you just wrote.
I'd love to move to Serbia. I am a Software Developer from Africa. I'm glad i came across this, especially knowing you're an IT consultancy 😊 Sandra sounds so welcoming

Krusevac is nice small town but i dont like it because it does not have a river like most other towns in Serbia

I tried buying a home in Serbia. They said I was able to buy the home but not the land that it is sitting on.
Non-citizens cannot own land listed as agricultural land. You can however own other land and structures.
Thank you for responding. I also applied for citizenship via family heritage about five years ago. When I call where I applied they will not tell me over the phone they said I need to come in person. Do you know of any process where I can can find out if I receieved it and where do I go to pick it up @@bradbeckett
Ask a Serbian Embassy in your country or come to Serbia and see.
St Marks, great in summer. My mrs favourite ice cream
I totally get the escape of Beo, Im an Irish expat, in Vračar. I don't feel drawn to Krus though, my Serb mrs and I, visit her old aunt there. We are renovating a mountain house on Golija, and aim to fully relocate, as you mention, Niš has improved air links now. Well seemingly your happy , best if luck 😊
Very good. Thank you!
Brad you should go and visit Viminacijum.
I agree and have been meaning to go -- I don't think many have done videos on it and it seems under-rated with lots of potential. I'll try to go when it warms up.
That electrical has to have been redone long ago. I see no RCD (Americans call it a GFCI, you have it in the bathroom outlets, we have the whole place on one in the breaker panel) and we had an RCD in our apartment that was built in 1991. Maybe there are bootleg grounds on the outlets, in that case an RCD will not work right.
This building had no grounding, but my new one does, and it works well in every outlet. I feel so privileged to finally have a proper electrical ground in Tesla's home country.
@@bradbeckett A TN system (means ground and neutral are connected at some point) is safer than TT where ground and neutral are 100% separate and a TT system requires a working GFCI to be safe, if the GFCI breaks it is about as good as having no ground at all. So probably those 2 buildings are more similar than you think, a GFCI will work fine as long as ground and neutral are never connected after it, it really doesn't matter about what is before it, so either there are bootleg grounds or maybe it's just because there is a common misconception among Serbian electricians that it won't work.
