Enjoy my Friend. I was born in Krusevac 1986 then i move with my family 1991 to switzerland. I visit when its possible every year Krusevac or Belgrade but Krusevac is my Hometown you know. ❤
Cograts Brad! I also plan to move out of Belgrade to a small Serbian town, Loznica. You visited Loznica a couple of years ago, I saw that video. Long live small towns!
Loznica is a nice spot beautiful mountains around there.
Central Serbia is really a super nice place to be in this world today! If you are younger and apt for nightlife and metropolis vibe, Belgrade IS what Europe capital, that European capitals ought to be. Novi Sad also. But if a bit older and if you can work remotely, it's great to wake up in some forestry mountain town thousands years old, where you can get everything, but no fuss, no hurry, you can go hiking, biking, get lost in engulfing quiet woods nearby, and each of them have some local river or stream you can go fishing or kayaking or just bask in sun on weekends... When I have time and funds, I often visit Sumadija for pure rest. And as for food - smaller towns often have more and better traditional food made from things found in area, which makes it cheaper, and recipes are more original and sticked to than in Belgrade, where quantity is more important than quality. So, good choice Brad, hope you enjoy Krusevac!
It's nice to see that you enjoy and love Serbia and the quality of life it offers. I hope you get your citizenship soon, I wish you all the best.
Thank you. I can't wait. My friends and I are very excited. Hopefully it comes sooner then later. Thanks again! Chao.
Great, I love Krusevac 🧡🍀
It's all good!
Brad's back! ;) 👏
And, if you want to go in Beograd, it's hour and a half drive on motorway.
Next year there will be two separate motorways to Belgrade and it's just super convenient.
I wished there was a fast train to Nis for the airport.
@@bradbeckett I wish if the fast train runs Bg Nis and that there is stop in Krusevac. As I hear , there will be in 4 years.
In real life more like six 🥺
I have a coworker in Edmonton, Canada who is originally from Kruševac, so I got curious and found your video. Cool to see!
Man, talk about new frontiers, I so admire your mobility and sense of adventure, best! :-)
I serbia😊 thanks for wisit serbia😊
Good to see you back buddy!
You are welcome in Subotica. If you ever come to Northern Serbia.
Thanks, Subotica was a close second choice due to it's proximity to Budapest!
Great video am from krusevac but live in Germany I didn't Recognize my Home city. It's change a lot
Glad you liked it! Don't forget to subscribe for more updates from the mother country!
Amazing 🎉❤🎉Video thanks
Thanks for this quick tour and your unique insights! Your building looks great. Another town I would suggest in the north of Serbia is Sombor. Utterly beautiful town.
Nice to have you back :)
Thanks! Can't wait to film some more videos!
Kruševac is the medieval capital of Serbia and a city rich in history, it is beautiful and has a soul
And now You can rightfuly say that you really have live in Serbia, my friend! Do you know that Kruševac was the capital of the Serbian Empire and Serbian kings until 1389, and until the Kosovo battle with the Ottoman Empire? And now Kruševac, although not a particularly big place, is the hometown for various pro-Serbian nationalist movements. I personally adore Kruševac, although like you, I travel a lot, and I have seen many magnificent cities, Kruševac has always had an aura of peace, tranquility, and security. (Not to mention I was born nearby) So, in order not to ramble too much, welcome to us Brad.🥰💪🍻🇷🇸❤️🇺🇸🙏😇😎
@Brad def get with a tour guide, historian and have them take you around the town and do a mini documentary. Would be fun to see all this history in video..
Ameerikan nwzna strani jezik matora zena .pozzz Hvala.hvala vi ste baš.baš pozitivna osoba prpoznala omah kad sam vas ugledala ....šaljem vama blagoslov uz Božju pomoć...
Hvala vam. Odabrao sam da ostanem u Srbiji za stalno zbog pozitivnih ljudi kao što ste vi!
Hey Brad. Love your informative content. I'm looking at moving to Serbia. Looking at Novi Sad and Belgrade. I have one daughter and am looking into the schools in both areas. Thanks again for the virtual tours.
Brad, welcome to Kruševac!
I also lived in Belgrade for a while, but the crowds bother me more and more.
Thank you!
@@bradbeckett I forgot to mention that I now live in Kruševac. If you need any friendly assistance or advice regarding business, feel free to contact me.
❤
Great video man. Very informative. Thank you!
Thank you for the update Brad!
Your vlog videos are inspiring, insightful, and heart-warming 👍🏻👌🏻
Small-town simple life is definitely the way to go
Thank you, I try to be as genuine as possible in all my videos.
I totally get the escape of Beo, Im an Irish expat, in Vračar. I don't feel drawn to Krus though, my Serb mrs and I, visit her old aunt there. We are renovating a mountain house on Golija, and aim to fully relocate, as you mention, Niš has improved air links now. Well seemingly your happy , best if luck 😊
🙂 You seem super happy and I love it!!! I need to make a wish right now: Let me be this happy when I go overseas from here. 🤗 I love how different cultures can give such a great mix. Kruševac is great, and an ancient capital of Serbia. ❤💙🤍 Thank you for sharing!
Awesome update! Thank you for giving us a little peak into your life :)
Thanks everything is going really good even after almost 3 years!
@@bradbeckett agree with jake, good for you, I can just imagine how many people from North America crying to have just 15% of the type of lifestyle you are having. Also, is that bank only for business owners? Make sure you do a video on the grocery store as well so we can see the insanely high prices :D
@@boby4751 nobody I know in America is living the type of stress free life I am. They're either being let go by their employer, can't find a job, and are in deep debt.
Great video subscriber here. Glad you are posting again in a regular basis. Serbia looks like a great place. Please can do more in depth videos on residency and has anything changed over Last few years. Thanks 🙏
Maybe I'll do a residency video!
@@bradbeckett that would be great 👍
Great to hear an update!
Thanks for watching, don't forget to subscribe!
Top Level 🫶🏼
Thank you!
Welcom to Krusevac ,my town...pozdrav...
Hvala! Drago mi je da smo se upoznali.
Welcome to my town bro 😊
Thank you!
Hi, I'm from Kruševac, you should visit: Karadžićeva ulica, Saračeva Priča, Taverna...etc
The old Serbian medieval capital city, the city of Prince Lazar, Vinjak, the city of the Serbian chemical industry and very kind and very awkward people!
You are in the very middle of Serbia, without provinces, in southern Šumadija.
Go to Bagdala hill and show people how it looks
Great video. I am glad that you like my city! Definitely new subscriber
Thank you!
Sretno 🙏🏻😀
Nice little Town, thanks for sharing!
Great video again, will be cool to see the apartment next :) !
Thanks, I'll film it this week and release it on Friday.
👍👍👍👍
🎉❤🎉🇷🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
Thank you for all beautiful words about Kruševac.
Welcome!
Great 👍 ❤❤❤
looks really great, I am outside a small town in neighbouring Bulgaria but am interested in Serbia and your town is very appealing to me so thanks for the info.
Great video, I’ll stop by in the next three weeks
God is Blessing Serbia. Super excited for where they are headed. And all the Serbian Diaspora joining in while the West is Collapsing from Zioninsm..
Typical backward comment. I'm Western but live in Vračar and wtf are you talking about. Stop believing conspiracies off Internet 😂
Always nice to see your video journals. Glad you're living a good and happy life Brad. Looking forward to seeing the pad.
The new apartment tour is here: czcams.com/video/9Ea9Mzy1X24/video.html
When you come to Thailand, Bkk, we could meet and have drink. Regards from Serbian living in Bkk
Wow! We are neighbors 😅
Hi, may I suggest the Museum in Krusevac, the Miniature Park in Bagdala, some historical monuments, such as the Monument to the 1389 Battle of Kosovo heroes, to Despot Stefan, two monuments to Prince Lazar and a monument to Princess Milica, and the Lazarica church in the center from the 14th century...
Very good content idea for the future, thanks!
Cool to see you walking there, i am visiting within a couple of days, got a question: i am looking to get a job there so i can move to Krusevac, could you tell me what kind of work youre doing? Let me know
If you're a foreigner there is no chance of you getting a job in the local economy here in Krusevac. It's best to bring a remote income and live here.
I don't blame you for choosing a smaller city in Serbia, as you say the rents are skyrocketing and for a digital nomad it makes the two main cities less attractive.
Come back to Belgrade bro, you know the summer here is HOT HOT
@@GA_ME It's true I'm thinking of visiting soon :)
Hi Brad, two questions, does your apartment have gas for cooking and what's the medical care like there? You're still young so you probably don't think too much about the quality of medical care. (I know I didn't at your age) but it might be worth noting. Thanks
What's your descent, Brad? Just curious.😉
German, Polish, and English
You seem like a good bloke, I hope you get a citizenship :)
What you think about living in Novi Sad?
Personally not a huge fan, try it for yourself. I'd head to Subotica if I were to move up north.
You should stop using the elevator and take stairs up and down, so that will add some exercising you miss.
What do you do for work?
Sleep mostly.
Looks nice. Hopefully Serbia grants you citizenship.
Thank you... I think it could be as soon as next year!
"I have my bank" : due to FATCA now banks refuse to open accounts to Americans. If u were able to open an account u got lucky. (I would never live in a very small town in my 20s or 30 or ever, but thats me.)
I haven't had any trouble opening bank accounts. You fill out a W8 or something, I forget, but it's true not all banks want to pay for the IRS reporting compliance so sometimes options are limited but you can always find a few banks in each country that will take you.
What are you doing in Serbia, what business
Remote IT Consulting
I saw down in comments you speak and write in Serbian. If you manage to learn standard Serbian, please try to learn and understand language of local people (non-standardized versione), generally that part of Serbia.
I used Google Translate.
Hello, why don't you try to learn the Serbian language, if you really plan to live in Serbia? If it's not a secret, which part of the USA did you come from and what do you do while you're here? Is it so bad in the USA that you chose Serbia, which is irrelevant to American citizens, where the majority of your population does not know exactly where it is in the world. I believe that there are many countries in the USA that would be more interesting for you to work and live in than Serbia.

Great video, I enjoyed watching it, thank you so much for quality videos! ❤
I can't believe that you finally started posting again. Nice , till now I've been following you on LinkedIN but now finally youtube content again :D ... By the way if you ever come by to other cities around (for example Čačak), make sure to say so.
