Shitty tiny buttons and sticks! Instead of fullsized controls. That's a major downside for the Odin 2. The Loki ( which no one mentions is unavailable to buy!?) has the best version of the controls. So Odin 3 needs to be a better Loki! x86 device with the battery endurance of the Odin 2 and higher performance of course.

Are the sticks full 360 degrees a la 405m or 8 cardinal points ala 35xx-H?

Hi just wanted to say i love your channel, an honest direct unbiased look at tech and thoughtful review process.got myself a ROG ally as a treat and to be honest all I wanted to play was Mortal Kombat/Golden Axe etc. I once owned a Sega Mega drive and was hoping to enjoy these games again. 8bitdo actually sell one of those bluetooth to usb dongles as well, I use it to connect my ps4 controllers to my switch dock. It looks identical to the 2.4ghz dongles, but it's red brick coloured. For the most expensive one....why wouldn't you just buy a ps5 or 4 controller for that kind of money?

I finally modded my launch vita ( I actually pre-ordered it...). It's pretty cool but I'm still playing my modded 3DS more. I loved my Vita when I was playing it a lot but now I'm definitely more drawn to my 3DS.

The recent sale for $30ish made this a really great value. I pull it out waiting in line at the store or whatever. It's currently my dedicated red version device. GBA is a little miserable on it, so I'm not sure if I'll stick to it or get a GKD pixel down the line, but it's great for all the reasons you mentioned. I got a little keyfob case it fits into right on my keyring and any time I need to kill 2 minutes I've got something right there and ready in my pocket without the bulk/weight of a 405m or RP3+. Honestly the lowered commitment to a serious experience makes it pretty appealing. It's become my go to for those short burst sessions.

After 5 months Odin 2 exceeded my expectations. Ps2 and gamecube games plays flawlessly, switch games are amazing, battery life is longer than than the hours i can play before being tired. Like Russ said the only limit here is the time to play everything and the emulators still to develop. In fact, according to my needs, it's better this device than a ps5 or an Xbox. (oh i forgot i can play Xbox games too on odin 2 😅)

I wasted a lot of money on these modded handheld game consoles. The Anbernic RG556 is so tempting to get. I just ordered the RG35XX H from the Tik Tok Shop. This Odin 2 looks really good to get but, I am not so addicted to gaming.
