Most probable story-line: Local woman marries a paregner. Goes to her husband's country. Niceties of Filipinos towards foreigners maybe similar to the Japanese: tolerant, and polite, and whether we like it or not, we judge people within 3 seconds, or at least we have concluded an impression. Filipinos are so conscious about hygiene, and with that habit of smoking, maybe you reek of cigars, that is why you get treated 'differently'. The PH is still a homogenous society, a bit relax though compared to Japanese, you will feel that you are welcome, but not to the point they have to act in front of 'His Majesty' just to tell you we welcome you or like you.

Way, way overrated! I visited the Philippines right before the pandemic. It is one of the worst places I have ever experienced. Filthy, crime, poverty, everyone has his hand out wanting something from me and it has a very “third world” way of living. If a man wants a relationship with a woman he will be supporting her extended family. I have nothing but bad memories of being there.

Filipino men look at black American as NBA players or rapper especially if d black american are 6ft or taller. They will be amazed staring at them. If you visit the local in the provinces, they wanna play basketball with u... and then when u merged socially, you will find their single ladies relatives & friends that are not necessarily gold digger/ with good values & modest beauty. If u rely on dating sites, most probably women there are not for stable relationship. I am referring to if your purpose is to find lovelife.
