my brother in law is swiss nationality.. reverted to islam..
happily married my sister over 30 yrs now.. have 2 children and has become more malaysian than most malaysian 😊..
👍🏻
I have a uncle and he's from USA and reverted to Islam and staying here in Malaysia too. Have similar vibe with sir Karim here. He is a very good Muslim too.
There's no such thing as reversion.
What makes a good muslim is a person who does good deeds. Who gives charity. A good muslim does not associate others with Allah. A good muslim will not take their religious scholars as lords. A good muslim d, Salafi, oes not judge others. A muslim does not belong to a sect like Sunni, Shia, Ahmadiyyah, Sufi, Wahabi, Deobandi and Barelvi amongst others. [Quran 6:159] because Allah makes Muslims not sects, A true muslim will not uphold other books as guide besides the Quran. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) follow only the Quran as salvation and he doesn't follow any other teachings.
Technically, he's been a Muslim longer than anyone here on the internet though.
@@elbowstancenow1519 Most Muslims give Hadith precedence over the Quran.
Wow. .. i agree with both byteme9718 and elbowstancenow1519 definitely agree ... Just some time its hard to explain to my friends
I had the pleasure of being taught by Mr. Kieran and Prof. Bib during my university days. Both of them are absolutely wonderful!
Awesome, thank you for sharing!
Auntie Bibi & Uncle Karim I know you, I always see you jogging at Tasik Shah Alam. I still remember seeing you in Bloomington, Indiana, & our families having picnics together ❤❤

Thanks so much for the vid Alex, gonna share with the family later. The memories are pouring in from my childhood in America. Its so good to see Uncle Karim so healthy & happy. I wish him good health & many more happy years.

Wow that is so amazing
I really appreciate you sharing that wih us!

Wow they are shah alam folks? Me too!
Bro Karim, the way you answer the interview is perfect. You did not say any bad things to anyone, any country… even when the question may lead towards that.
Malaysia is now a Top destination for western Muslims to move to Muslim countries, And I realized that Islam in Southeast Asia is the best version of Muslims such peacefull, Kindess,Politeness and Friendliness. In the midst of huge Islamophobia in the West, Malaysia can represent Good Muslim
Islam in the middle east and everywhere else is also good, maybe even betterbecausefor the muslim women in the middle east, they wont marry a man unless he converts for real, unlike with malay Muslims that will just marry a white man just because hes white even though he doesnt practice islam like this guy. My point is. Dont be arrogant please, no where is perfect but we are 1 ummah.
@@lartist-jk8fp funny...u said othes not to be arrogant, but then u jump to conclusion that "malay Muslims that will just marry a white man just because hes white"...BS

Funny guy. He will marry the same woman 4 times.. now that's commitment.
Whenever Western people asking where is Malaysia 🇲🇾, my answer will always be... "You know Singapore? You know Thailand? We are beautiful country between that two countries"😊 😍 😊😊

It's a surprise to see Mr Karim after all these years here. So happy to hear that you're still very much in love with Dr Bib, she's so lucky to have you and you to have her. Still remember both of you from PPP ITM (1994-1996). Dr Bib helped me a lot in building my confidence as an individual back then. May both of you be blessed always by the Al-Mighty.
Learned a lot about literature, linguistics and life from Mr Kieran back in the year 2000. I have utmost respect for the man and his wife, Prof Habibah. May all your happenings bless both of you with good health and happiness every day.

Alhamdullilah bro Karim. There is something special among Malay Muslims about faith in Islam which is called ' Tawheed' which could hardly defined as ' belief' in other religion. Anyway, you could find the word ' addeen' instead of religion as understood by non Muslims worldwide.
Good video, thanks for the good job!
Thank you!

I have been married to a Malaysian Chinese lady for the past 41 years and live in the UK. I am a Christian and she is buddhist. We have visited Malaysia and Singapore many times during those intervening years and have witnessed much change. All I can say, the Malaysians of all ethnic persuasions are some of the kindest and generous people I have had the pleasure to meet. A beautiful country, food to die for and welcoming people. I would retire there tomorrow if I could but my wife's health condition now prevents it. I end with this note: Keep Malaysian politics for the politicians.
Thank you for sharing your story

Brother Kieran makes a right choice of embracing Islam & moving to Malaysia.
Malaysia is voted as among the top 10 destinations as the best retirement country in the world for 2024 by Retirement index.
Malaysia is the only Asian & Muslim nation among those European & Latin american countries.

If he gushes about his wife after 40 yrs and says he hit the jackpot, his wife is filthy rich . He had some good things to say about guns as well. Lucky guy. Would really like to hear this guy in another interview.
Perhaps you need to do it exclusively to get the thrill out of it
How did u come to a conclusion that his wife is filthy rich? Jackpot can mean non-monetary gains too - like beauty, intelligence, faithfulness 💕
I don't mind the sweating, it's natural. But the mosquitos bug me to no end, you can use repellant but it smells lemony and artificial haha

In a hadith also narrated by Anas RA, he said:
"The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) would often say: Ya Muqallibal-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik('O Changer of the Hearts! Strengthen my heart upon Your Religion.)' So, I said: 'O Prophet of Allah! We believe in you and what you have come with, but do you fear for us?' He said: 'Yes. Indeed, the hearts are between two Fingers of Allah's Fingers, He changes them as He wills.'"
