gg anyway! The Far and Near option in the menu are well... just for the menu. You do not go into the run with it, so Zoom out cave is same as it was. And about Dome Armor, it not only gives you more hp, it also indirectly buffs your cobalt repair, since it is % based from max hp, and you get more of it with Armor upgrades.

I loved it! You claimed the Underground Station's Rock Scan ability is useless. For 2/2 iron/water early game vision of a 15 wide tunnel/rock for resources are pretty useful, I think! Edit: @ 5:34

11:52 i feel speed would have been better because of cost wise. like more drone was 6/4 and more speed was 2/2 but more drone was 4/11 boost (Little less than 1/2 upgrade) and speed was 1/3 upgrade to all existing drone... I don't say 1 is better than the other but one complement the other exponencially, like if you have 1 driver and he get 1/3 speed boost it's not bad. but if you have 11 driver and you boost all of them by 1/3 it's freaking amazing.

I asked the devs on discord, the medal things aren't supposed to make you steonger. Some of the challenge difficulties aren't beatable right now as far as they know and need rebalancing

I understand your mining choice...for this challenge its way better...but oh boy, it looks awful :D.

At about 40 mins in I was screaming at the screen DRONES! I think the best approach is to just dig, never even go up. If you see piles of stuff waiting to be transported that means you are understaffed: either get more drones or speed them up. I'd opt for speed first, if stuff still piling I'd get more drones. This way you are free to just dig, you don't have to be the transporter. The battle: basically suicide. Yes, you forgot to use the abilities and you had your weapon maxed. Laser isn't going to cut it here (get it? :D ). I'd choose artillery with area effects maxed because lots of enemies deserved to be put down simultaneously :D So, 4x artillery shells with AoE, not monster buster. That could clean a line. Probably. Maybe not. Ah, and maxed out AA gun, not rockets!

55:15 It would actually have mattered, because there's still another gadget in the unexplored section of the cave, which could've been a defensive one.

Is it even possible at this point? You were so far off on battle power and yet had everything maxed out

54:24 XD Yep that was pretty much my reaction too when I first saw those guys 😂 I recently learned are called “tormentors”. Speaking from experience they do WAY more damage than even a driller, so watch out! Also, some things I noticed about the mushroom gadget: -It fills a role like an ‘orchard lite’, and I found there are other gadgets that function like ‘lite’ versions of each primary gadget (e.g. the furnace is like a ‘repellent lite’) -I’m pretty sure the spores use the same physics as blast mining charges with the impact detonation upgrade, which explains why they need to be dropped to plant -Their buff does not improve mining speed until you get the upgrade for it, but it DOES stack with the orchard buff which is super fun.

Heads up, the popcorn spawner doesnt take damage when its underground. Only shoot at it when it shows its face :D

Good run! Yeah I would suggest doing the regular assignments to unlock all the gadgets. Supplements are super important now. Double laser is in a supplement. They’ve taken a lot of stuff and put them in the supplements. Keep protecting the dome! We are here for it!

They do have a resolve finding ability it's a two wide size dep/long space with a ... Thing in the center that allows you to see through rocks. The way you dig while different than others would make it easy to miss it but I know it's mostly in the third layer or deeper as it does random spawn in most med - huge maps😊 as for the seed the more resources you plant it on the faster it produces more and depending what you place it on is what you get so if you can find a area with water cobalt and iron then you would get 1 of each as it produces but yeah with this challenge you have to repair. Great challenge 😉

Great try! I appreciate seeing different mining styles but the benefit of strip mining is that you wouldn't have missed the big chunk of cave, and you would have had the gadgets and supplements to become much stronger. As mentioned before, avoid getting any offensive upgrades until a few waves before fighting. Focus on Keeper drill and speed, and don't sleep on Drones! They are very OP when upgraded. Thanks for the entertainment! 🍻

The laser worked best for me, just with repellant, it will always be the best because of the 70% slowdown for 16s +overcharge. I could potentially see aoe path artillery working too, but I haven't tried it. I have used tesla once and never again. Sword is just not going to work due to its pathetic range. Those laser people are out of range of the sword, making it basically useless.

Awesome updates I really hope this game comes to consoles. Also I for sure would love to see some more crazy combos for the domes and weapons and gadgets. Kinda like your old videos where you tried all that they had to offer.

If you're using the drones, i feel like it's best to focus on more drones, speed, and drill, just to get as many resources as quickly as possible to build up a huge cache, then upgrade everything at once one or two waves before the end. I'll be honest though, by wave #7 I was getting nervous with the lack of iron and water. I would like to have at least70 iron stockpiled.

ok just finished vid it was good just note the double laser upgrade was moved to a suppliment and I think the best gadget might be the regular one for the shield and i honestly dont know which weapon would do the best maybe artilery or electric dome

Hooray, I’m so glad to see this! I participated in the beta a little bit, and I loved the droneyard as well. Good to see that they reduced the spawn time of the drones - it was 8 seconds per drone in the beta which was way too slow. Also, they buffed the “monster buster” path for the artillery. It no longer penalizes reload time, and actually REDUCES it on some upgrades. I learned you could take monster buster with the swift reload to get zero-second reload time too lol
