The Fingers telling Marika how to become a god is wild. Everyone thought she was some mastermind, but really she was being orchestrated like a marionette.
Could be a symbiotic relationship. They're both getting something they want. I don't know enough yet to really make an intelligent comment on that though. There's just so much it's hard to untangle from my current perspective.

We don't get the questions around Radagon answered in SotE, far as I can tell. But seems to be fully aligned with the Fingers even though, y'know. Maybe they were part of his ascension as well?

I hated this catacombs those eyes were terrible. The Assassins Gambit ash of war helped alot I just threw it on a basic dagger to keep as a second weapon
I just started playing ER, couldn’t get into it for the longest time. I don’t think I’ll make it to the end, it’s too big for me 🤣

Sounds like you have the right attitude though. Just explore and do things that seem fun. Then take a break when they're less fun. If you're feeling lost then you're doing things right haha. If something is too confusing though look it up. This is definitely a game where looking things up is encouraged.
