I think you’re giving bad faith arguments for pink diamond. And blaming her for the corruption and the shard fragments fusions is actually INSANE to me. Also pink diamond was literally being abused by the diamonds and had no way to reveal to them she was doing the rebellion. This would have had her beaten and thrown in jail. And pearl meeting the same fate of the previous pearl. Pink diamond was in a terrible situation and she did what was best for herself to get out and protect the earth. You can’t blame pink diamond for things that happened after she had actions. Faking her own shattering in her mind was the only way to stop homeworld from completing the colony. If she revealed she was a diamond it would get the other diamonds involved and the rebellion would lose. So rose had no way to know the diamonds would use a corruption spell. You continually victim blaming rose for the actions of her abusive family is honestly hurting me to watch. I do think Rose should have told garnet and amethyst who she was.

I do have a character that I consider ‘Autistic’ in the headcanons, Shadow the hedgehog. Now I know I will be bombarded, but most of his traits I put in online Autism tests are settled in ‘most likely autistic’. Shadow is the kind of person who prefers being alone, he only has a few friends (which are Omega and Rouge), and he doesn’t really speak to others (unless they annoy him) This may be confused with him having PTSD, but it was never confirmed by the creators, but I can see him being Autistic AND having PTSD, the only difference is that the head canon I have for him is high functioning Autism, since I think it makes more sense for his character. I, myself have high functioning autism and ADHD, there are times when things are hard but I do manage somehow.

Marinette' stalker attitude always felt like early season weirdness. The Marinette of later seasons doesn't feel like that anymore.

Spinel is a great character, and what makes her so great is that in the trailer, it shows her trying to kill Steven while she laughs in the background, but in the movie, we now know why. If it wasn't Pink Diamond abandoning her, she wouldn't hurt Steven and the gems anyway. I'm starting to think that Pink Diamond is the true villain of the series. She emotionally abused Pearl, also emotionally abusing Spinel, saying to her to stay still and wait for Pink to come back, but she didn't. She never wanted to come back, because she prefers Earth instead of her own garden (I think.) 6000 years, Pink left Spinel to rot in the garden, waiting for Pink to come back and play with her. But when she heard Steven's news, she cried. She was in pain. Her heart was broken. It makes me angry thinking about why fans would get mad at Rebecca for saying the reason why she made Spinel. They all think that Rebecca said that Spinel deserve to rot alone, but she didn't say that. Thank God she found Steven, her "new best friend", and she's living with the three most powerful diamonds. (If they hurt her, I swear to God...) Enough of my endless yapping, I love Spinel. She's an amazing, yet cute character. I hope we see her more in the future. Oh wait, the show ended. Damn it!

this video, particularly the section centred around peridot and pearl (my symptoms are very visible but I’ve learned to hide them, I relate to both) made me realise i was autistic. ive since gotten a diagnosis, so… thank you. this video kind of changed my life and i am so glad you went over this SO ACCURATELY (i have a special interest in psychology funnily enough, and have since i was 10. that partly helped lmfao). thank you.

How do you learn how to control your feeling after something like this happens? I don't want to be toxic I don't want to hurt anyone. I just keep doing it....

That's a lot of the reason I've been happy to write! My special interest is Ratchet and Clank, and on top of seeing a lot of myself in the characters, it was important to me to write a story on it that used a character that is very clearly autistic. She stims constantly, doesn't understand certain social terms until explained, and there's a scene late in the second book where she has a meltdown. Felt it was important for folks to see, even if the RaC fandom is smaller than other fandoms.

I think pearl was made by all the diamonds as a gift to pink because all the diamond colors appeared to be in her design even white in her gem

I very probably have some form of ADHD, and have been struggling with hyperfixations since forever. Especially now, where I find myself not really... having one? ig? I still have a very strong interest in my past hyperfixations, but I'm not intensely consumed by anything atm and haven't been for a while. As someone who doesn't know how to enjoy things "normally", it's strangely harrowing. I find myself trying to latch onto different things to feel more okay again (although being hyperfixated on something has its own laundry list of cons) but to no avail (especially considering how difficult it is to start any kind of task, including trying out a new series for ex). It feels so embarrassing and lonely lol.

It was all good for them and humanity WOULD survive, right? Wrong! The younger generations wanted to escape alterna so they built an entire rocket!! But on a test fire the shock wave was to huge that all the crystals and things from the marine life came crashing down in a huge flood and that was the end of humanity… in the next thousands of years, marine life began to evolve thanks to the help of the crystals which held human desires and so the sea creatures evolved into humanoid forms, the most advanced species being the Inklings and the Octolings. These species lived in harmony, ignoring their differences and flaws, it was perfect. In an alternate reality probably! What really happened was a whole giant war between inklings and octolings because of the lack of land and a little bit of Racism. Eventually the inklings won and the octolings were driven underground. Some years later, there was a talent show for young inklings! A girl named Pearl entered but she had a voice so loud that it destroyed the entire venue, in the end Cap’n Cuttlefish, The leader of the squid beak Splatoon (the inklings from the war),‘S nieces, Callie and Marie, won leaving pearl to go yodel in the mountains alone. Callie and Marie would soon become the idol group known as The Squid Sisters! And that about sets things up for the story of the games! That person: ok I think I’ve heard enough.

Revisiting this viddeo now, and it is implied the bodily fluids of each diamond has, for some reason, the power to create new gems. It usually is made by collecting, somehow processing it, and injecting it, but, to some extent, Rose's tears creating pebbles are one form of that. Steven's spit and some of roses creations might be the result of that interacting with organic matter instead of minerals. Hard to say as the watermelon stevens seem to have a fairly limited lifespan and ability to reproduce, unlike gems. Finally, pretty sure that ine story from Junji Ito inspired the creepy aesthetics of the kindergartens. To the point amethyst once references it, saying "it fits me perfectly" and slotting into her hole, as happens with people on that story

I have a theory, white made diamond gems but they weren’t like.. the gems that form yet, white is so emotionless because she passed her emotins to the other diamonds, and thats why pink is so small, because white’s joy is super small.

This feels like a pretty safe comment section, so I want to ask your opinion. I'm autistic, and my special interest is Harry Potter. Legit, I picked up the first book when I was four, and I've been in love ever since. But, I find myself significantly at odds with JK Rowling time and time again. I've tried separating the author from her work, but a couple of my cis and trans friends, and numerous people online in the trans community have expressed that my special interest and attachment to Harry Potter is the equivalent of being a die-hard transphobe. I can attest that I 100% validate and support trans individuals, but I don't know what to do. Like others have said, I don't choose my special interest, and whenever I try to let go of the Harry Potter Universe I sink into a deep, months-long depression. Does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on this predicament? Thanks for reading this long comment :)

I'm 4 years late but given that White Diamond is still able to show warm colours through "blushing", that could imply through this theory that her repression and therefore ejection of the warmth in her spectrum into a new Diamond was probably incomplete. If she had fully ejected red from her spectrum, would Pink Diamond have been Red Diamond and of similar height to Blue and Yellow? And would White Diamond have been essentially unbeatable by Steven's quip as she wouldn't have had the emotions required to "blush"?

Russia isnt really gone, a russian state still likely exists because the chunk missing is just siberian snow and tundra. It actually looks like it stretches down to mongolia, and it might actually affect mongolia more. The parts of russia left are their eastern european territories and their pacific coast. Dude I lovveee rainbow quartz 2.0- they’re so coollll, and my second favorite is easily sunstone. I also came up with a theory a while ago that Steven himself is technically a fusion. Like, physically. Throughout the series up until the homeworld arc and future despite all the danger he’s in he’s always been a fun loving kid with a lot of compassion. But, when white diamond split him into two halves, they make contact and dance around before becoming one again. Now this is alright evidence until you think of future, where he starts to basically fall apart and his gem powers go haywire. This is because of what we’ve already discussed with fusions fighting against each other. While he is one person and not a fusion mentally, that’s why when he’s split up he feels so awful, physically during future I imagine his emotional turmoil and self loathing granted him the same effect as when a normal fusion would begin to hate itself. His powers go crazy. This makes even more sense when you think about pink diamond. He’s lived the last few years of his life being compared to her, a person he saw as being horrible due to the words and actions of those around him. He hates pink diamond. So he hates his gem half. Anyways at the end of future, when he finally finds peace with himself, his problems go away. I thought of this the Tuesday before last while sitting on the couch watching the homeworld arc lol

I started wathing steven universe, wayyy too latte tbh, but periodt became my favorite gen INSTANTLY, even while she was trying to attack steven, i love her and just vibed with her. I recently found out that, aside from being neurodivergent, i might also be on the spectrum! Thinking back to how much i love periodt and her as a character, it’s interesting to see that many people in the fandom, believe shes also on the spectrum! :) It may not make much sense, but i think its an interesting tell, that of all characters, periodt was the one that resonated with me the most and so quickly :)
