Nice to see RSI respects our time. i went to buy the Vanguard Sentinel only to find out they increased the price to almost 11 million now. edit: it seems all these prices are outdated unfortunately. shame they make the game so focused on spending real money to get a half decent ship without a lifetime of grinding.

I bought it way back when it was in concept as a $50usd lti before the PU even existed. I love the design/look, but functionally it just doesn’t stack up to any ship in its price pool. If they dropped it back to $50 it would be a great competitor to to mustang or aurora. But sadly it’s just not worth it when the 300i is the same price or cheaper and does everything better. And I know it’s not in the lore, but I feel like a “medical” variant would do really well as a slightly beefier competitor to the c8r [CIG please read this 😉]

Rsi really needs to add a comms like "speakerphone sound" throughout the entire rig. Like a boss coming over the master intercom telling people what to do would be great.

Man I just fly this one. And the constellation is a Beats! I go for bounty and I have downed bounty with escort OH MY! (Ares with C1). The ship has everything. 4x M7A, Cargo, Nursa with respawn, Small ship to fly around, beds, doors for space operations.... Damm!

Not sure about the Starliner, i already have a light passenger transport in the Phoenix, and possibly the E1, so we'll see. Secondly, cant imagine there wont be some form of Insurance attached to carrying passengers, and some form of license/training cert.

i feel like that this ship does not live up to it´s own lore. It lack´s firepower and defensive armament. The Size 7 Turrets are great, but we have to wait how the firing arcs will look like. The AA defensives are more ore less non existent at this point. Out of the 2 size 3 turrets, only one is able to actualy cover a decent field. They need to be position better, and maybe even double the amount. I would then add a couple size 2 quad turred, completly controlled by ai as point blank missile defensive. As an Patrol ship it also lacks the possibility to board another ship. It should have a small hangar in order to launch a small craft.

The interior of this ship is lacking a couple of things in my opinion: An armory and an Engine bay. Besides that, it seems weird that the elevator is towards the back of the ship, whereas you would want easy and rapid access to the turrets and bridge instead of habitations and cargo. I think this ship will still change a lot until release.

Never thought of putting a Prospector in the back. I am wondering if it can fit a Prospector and also an Ursa, or something slightly smaller. The fact that it can hold a ground vehicle suggests it can land on the surface. I never thought I would lean towards an Odyssey, but after seeing this video it has given me a thought since I am one of those types to be a hermit in space and life. The idea is this. Load up on MRE's and Water bottles, load up a prospector and perhaps a ground vehicle like Ursa or ROC, and then go off into space to mine while using the Odyssey to refuel. Also note, if you can manage to get a cargo hauler out there as well you could just work it out with the cargo hauler to split the profits with you to keep them coming back for another load of mined goods or QT. Just some thoughts I wanted to share, and who knows, maybe one day this could work.

Titan, Nomad, Cutter. Pick any and you're doing good for a starter. Move into a cutlass black or C1 if you're looking for a step up. Then above that grade go Corsair or Taurus. Top all rounders in those 3 tiers.

How many can last three years in sc and spend less than $420?

If I had to choose I’d get the clipper but I want to spend less than 500 in total on star citizen and this is not my ship .

The ES is going to be my daily driver, as exploration is really the most exciting part of my Star Citizen fantasy. There is NOTHING under a capitol sized ship that has a size 3 radar, so when that gameplay gets fleshed out this thing could really skyrocket in value. Or not. Nothing is guaranteed to live up to the hype with CIG.

Another nice review, thanks. Aleays good to have timestamps even for a shortish playtime. Couple of thoughts on the video; 1. Perhaps just give a bit more specific detail on things?, for example like external storage (Wiki has 'Features two 1,500k µSCU storage units providing enough space for both crew members') just so viewer has some reference point. Not sure if the storage is shared? i.e. can just make sharing stuff easier. Great you showed the drop down gun racks, a very nice feature. Also, perhaps touch on some things where it lacks some basic feature such as no bed for logging, no internal storage, turret gunner not having access to mobiglas during use (from what I read not used myself) etc. Again maybe just highlighting some list of basic QoL features when comparing ships generally. I appreciate there is a balance to how much detail is too much but maybe for some more useful features. 2. The background audio was a tad high for me personally when listening to your narration. Not a biggie just wanted to share (music choice nice).

My suggestion has always been Freelancer Max with an Ursa Rover and ROC in the back. They both fit, and it is very budget friendly if you want to do it all.

Is it a new ship or an old asset? What I mean is, does it have access to components and weapon rack? Also what’s the point of the pretty storage bubble if you have only very limited access to it?

I've seen a couple of videos say it struggles in atmo, and I can confirm it does, especially compared to the F8C, but that's under the current flight model and without the F7A upgrade. How do you think it will hold up in Master Modes?

I love this ship. Ive pledged for it and use it quite often especially during jumptown. This ship really has one job. If you arent doing combat, it sits in the hangar though.

Anyone else enjoy using this ship?

I picked up a Genesis some time back. Should be a great runner for passengers and even non-combat troop transport. I'm a little off on it only for the fact that a 747 that is physically smaller can carry more than 400 persons (depending on the variant and how many classes) compared to the larger Genesis only carrying . . . 40. There had better not be any complaints as to not having enough leg room during a flight. That really is the only beef I have with it . . . so long as the steward and stewardess outfits come with it. My guess is that the 40 passenger version will be a VIP transport ship much like the Spirit E1. If that's the case, I have no beef with the design at all. Either way, I plan on getting the full party package for mine and plan to have parties and events throughout the 'verse in addition to attending other groups' ingame events.

Love the Reliant series. I have a Mako, and it's the same story with being able to get out of the seat only when landing gear is down. I think that's how they solved the bedlogging bug (bedbugs?) because now, you can only bedlog in the Mako when landed. Last patch, these ships had a bug where it would switch to vertical mode when you were bedlogged in space and it would lock you out of the cockpit!

i Dont like the KORE, but love the SEN and Tana, Mako maybe one day will have a use.... As for Aurora comparison, the Aurora CL have the same 6 SCU capacity, having a bed.... if the Kore had a bed it would be much better, but also lacks in comparison to a Titan, even with a hipotetical bed.

Anyone think they should design more ships like this?

After the rework it, it’s going to basically be a civilian Carrick, but much better for solo pilots, it’s gonna have much more than 44 SCU, it might have a cargo grid of that but the amount of storage in it is insane and now that you can sell everything in your ship it’s a night and day difference. Why would anyone in game care about couches and hot tubs when they could have better weapons, a larger hanger a much better scanner, and an exploration deck? Also, it will still have its luxury style, It’s just not gonna be completely useless like it is now and obnoxiously useless. For most people, it will be the perfect mix, of form and function. Much more capacity and comfort for exploration and something like the C2 or M2 and much less require to have a full crew. 3 people can run the 600 comfortably, but in a pinch when your solo has as much damage as a drake Corsair, much more comfort. I don’t think people realize how powerful it is.

Owner of the Explorer version. Definitely looking forward to the badly needed rework which will make it big enough to carry a Nova tank.
