This is a different kind of video for me to do so hope you still like it and i did enjoy researching this ship so all good fun and games.
The ES was also my first pick, on account of range, defence and internal layout. The whole range feels a bit lightly armed for me but the range and the size of the ES just makes it so tempting. I’m hoping when it comes out Pyro will be out as well and some exploration gameplay. The MR was my second pick and I gather it will be the most fun to multicrew and do any variety of local adventuring. The Armory and general design of the MR reminds me a lot of the Corsair. I ended up getting the above two and am looking forward to their coming out. The CL may not be for me but serious respect to it. It’s going to be an excellent medium freighter and very competitive with anything else out there competing for its role. No idea what will happen but my guess is closer to release they’ll reveal the fourth variant and it will be a serious temptation, whatever it’s focus might be.
Nice another ES person, and yeah they are a little underwhelming when it comes to firepower and the turret would definitely come in handy for that little extra.
I also hope for some exploration gameplay as exploring the ground and derelict ships can get a bit repeated after you do it so much and they say they are going to try to release it within a year so that would be nice.
Someone else comment about the ST variant but I can’t find anything about this as of yet…

MR all the way! It has what looks like 3 extra armor lockers directly opposite the Armory. You can now have both an environmental suit and armor for each crew member as well as a plethora of all manner of weapons and you don't sacrifice ship components nor the ability to carry cargo or a vehicle. The new ladder entry on all variants of the Zeus will make for awesome tactical insertions alongside the new upcoming ladder interactions.
All that you said is true there,
but I don't remember seeing anything about new ladder interactions. Was this an earlier thing or did I just miss reading or seeing something? Probably missed something lol

The airlock will make a great tactical exit point … emerge from your ship holding the high ground and snipe your opponents from a vantage point, then drop down anywhere that you can get to from the upper hull.
The ladder has too many blind spots and has you too vulnerable until the disembarking animation has run through.
Nice video, appreciate your way of breaking it down. Also, the ES has the extra shield firstly so it can "have its thing", protection and range for exploring. The other two use the power for an extra turret (MR) and the tractor beam & extra thrust (CL) basically. We know it's a balance issue. 😅
Thanks for watching it, protection one makes sense for the Es and i guess using the power for an extra turret makes sense but that means for solo players not so good unfortunately if they wanted to use the bounty ship as the Es would make for a better gun ship if that makes sense
The ES is going to be my daily driver, as exploration is really the most exciting part of my Star Citizen fantasy. There is NOTHING under a capitol sized ship that has a size 3 radar, so when that gameplay gets fleshed out this thing could really skyrocket in value. Or not. Nothing is guaranteed to live up to the hype with CIG.
As for me, I'll grab the Clipper. I have the Freelancer DUR & 400i for exploring, but the CL is a good competitor for the MAX
yeah, all 3 of the ships seem great, like mini Galaxy's lol
Once turret blades are introduced, this will be my solo Millennium Falcon (though technically, the Millennium Falcon was a ‘Solo’ ship, from a certain point of view).
The MSR never really hit the mark for the SC version of the Falcon, but this is the right size, right specs and even the right aesthetics.
I bought an ES recently, so I will get to play with the Spirit A1 and then C1 as a substitute ship, until the Zeus is finished cooking.
Idk how long it will take them to come out but I also can't wait to fly them as a solo ship

There was loads of progress it seemed compared to what we saw at other showings, (not saying there wasn't any progress in others) it was great and I actually quite enjoyed watching it :)

I cant really decide if I should get the ES or the CL. I already have a corsair so the CL would be better I think but the interior of the ES looks nicer and the shield generators are much better than the corsairs.
Up to you in the end of things, I mean think about would you benefit from gaining 1 shield size and quicker quantum travel + bigger fuel tank. also bigger radar and better living conditions
or would you benefit from gaining 96 cargo space more vehicle transport options and an utility tractor beam but losing some sleeping space (Still 3 beds) .
Idk if that helps but hopefully it does a little.
Personally i went for the Es because i like to live on my ships and get a really nice feeling for how they are.
Ive got the pack for the savings, I had bought the A1 at first then i found that the loaner for the zeus is the A1 so win win

If I had to choose I’d get the clipper but I want to spend less than 500 in total on star citizen and this is not my ship .
What about the ST? Shown at citizen con...the final image shown before moving to the cutter? Awesome video keep up the content.
I have had a look back at the twitch stream and I still cannot find anything about the ST, do you mind giving me a timestamp or some more information as I also cannot find anything about it online.

@Duffer529 The ST image, and during the stream a fourth tab at the top has "RACING" as the label. If it's for later, or not coming ever, we will have to see. Inforunners did a CZcams on it.

So it's supposedly a luxury or racing ship. That could be cool and I could definitely enjoy a luxury Zeus 😀 only time can tell what it shall be though I guess

It was my first time doing a concept ship talk so I know that I need to be a little careful with what not say as it is people’s money that is being used here so I will be more careful next time
Don't even worry about anyone man, just carry on doing what you're doing, it's great and you can't be 1000000000% correct all the time remember that. There will always be someone to try and down you.

@Duffer529 I can see, although both are delta wing...I'd say this is a new ship, since Zeus mk1 has a smooth design and a pointy back, which Zeus mk2 do not. I am just saying this ship might not be the most lore respecting one out there.
Yeah I can also definitely see how this looks like a new ship and if you were to put 2 next to someone who had never seen either of them being linked, they probably would guess they were very well
