New Competitor : Hornet MK II Review

The F7C Hornet Mark 2 is the newest ship in star citizen at the current patch with it being an upgraded variant of the normal F7C. It brings quite a lot more to the table in terms of this ship with bigger guns bigger power plants cargo use and overall quality of life, is this ship for you?

before any comments about it, I know it is not upgraded from f7a mk1, meant f7c in the intro.

I've seen a couple of videos say it struggles in atmo, and I can confirm it does, especially compared to the F8C, but that's under the current flight model and without the F7A upgrade. How do you think it will hold up in Master Modes?

I seem to find that it's still quick at accelerating up to the max of 255ish then it starts to slow up in atmosphere. Compared to more like the 310's for the mk1. So a downgrade there.
And for me I think the handling is still pretty good for it combat wise. Idk How close it is turning wise though, can't see much of a difference personally.
I think the power plant upgrade definitely sorts this downgrade out though.
might struggle when it comes to some of the bigger ships in master modes. definitely better than how the mk1 would handle in my opinion. Not the best at combat here though lol.
When you say with it's current flight model, has it not been fully implemented yet? As it does seem of that every website I look at says it's meant to have the same manoeuvrability as the mk1 and better speeds, yet it doesn't. Can't find much info on this.

Is it a new ship or an old asset? What I mean is, does it have access to components and weapon rack? Also what’s the point of the pretty storage bubble if you have only very limited access to it?

no access to components or weapon rack so I see what you mean there.
I'm hoping that maybe they will add a ladder up to the storage or something like that.
