I always like to say systems are my self-care. And following that line of thinking, Notion is the equivalent to a day at a spa for me. The ultimate self-care experience.

    This is amazing. For situational scenarios I’d say having to sub for a teacher or be in any other role outside of the position I got hired for (school counselor) can cause anxiety. Even FaceTime video can create a lil anxiety. Where I need to rest afterwards. Sensational: headaches, sore muscles, feeling sick, feeling sleepy, stomachaches.

    These are great tips! My biggest tip ties into your last one, and that is to chase serotonin. I have ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, and ADHD and am the primary care giver for 2 ND spoonies. One of the biggest issues I have with the ND community is the obsession with dopamine. Dopamine is just a reinforcer. It can reinforce good habits or it can reinforce bad habits. It does NOT give motivation. Serotonin gives motivation, and can even increase the number of spoons I have each day. My early morning routine before my kids get up and my late evening routine after they're in bed are all about basically ODing myself on serotonin. For ND spoonies it takes stacking multiple serotonin-producing activities back to back to get a good boost.
