This was so helpful getting mine started. I was soon up the ladder cutting through the hedge. These hedge cutters are brilliant. Cuts like butter through thick stems.

Good video. I've got a 2014 Kohler KT-725. No head gasket problems yet, but both valve covers have leaked over time and needed new RTV. That exhaust gets super hot, and I think that's been the problem with mine. Now that I know, I keep an eye on oil levels constantly.

I have a 2024 model S110 John Deere rider 42” mower deck. I was greasing everything up and found no zerk fitting on ether wheel, manual says it because the are permanently sealed to me I’ve never heard of that before. I’m i getting the right information. Thanks for your help on this matter I’ve been following your videos for sometime and love them thanks again sir.

On my S240 the dealer replaced the pin-and-bowtie clip which secures the locking arm for the front deck hanger with a 1/2" bolt and washers with a nylon insert nut. He said it was much more reliable.

hi, Im looking at one on FB marketplace. does the forward peddle hvae to be pressed in for the duration of the mowing session. Or, is it like cruse control where once its' pressed it stays on. thanks.

We watched this video because we suspected we also had a blown head gasket. Needless to say, I have very little mechanical ability but our Troy Bilt Super Bronco is a life saver for us where we live, from mowing to snow blowing. Having few people around us to help us, we have to learn to fix things ourselves. Brad is such a great teacher, his ability to show you how to do things in a step by step process, showing you the right tools to use and what not to do has been invaluable to us. We took our heads off the engine today and yes we do have a blown head gasket. Parts are ordered and we are confident we will have no problems replacing them and having our tractor run like new. Thank you so much for making this video!!

i had the same problem the first idler pulley you took off the bracket it sits on was bent straighten it out and it will be fine thats what i did havent had a problem since.

I love your work. I enjoy watching you at work. You don’t hold back tips or advice and your videos are great. I had my drive belt break on my toro ss5000. I couldn’t drop the clutch. I was Able to unscrew the 2 screws that hold the clutch from spinning. And put on the new drive belt. Did I do wrong?

I change my belt and the belt is too loose. I have the correct part. NO TENSION ON THE BELT. I don’t know what is going on!!

Purchased that tube and installed it today. Used the same paste for the threads as well. The only difference was that I used Royal Purple and added 1 1/2 oz of Motorkote to the mix. And did a thorough clean up of the engine bay and regreased the front axles and rack. I used 1 1/2 quarts plus the 1 1/2 oz of Motorkote, and ran it for a bit and it topped off perfect. I will check it again tomorrow to see if it settled any. Thanks a MILLION for the great tutorial! And Happy 4th to ya! And to add, I actually was able to unscrew that original drain plug with my fingers, that's how bad mine was! My Kohler is an older model than yours. My oil filter is up in the back of the motor facing up and down, not sideways like yours. But everything worked fine and the tilting tip was spot on!!! True life saver!

Best video I’ve seen on YT for my 155c drive belt. The keeper peg in rear diff also has a 7/32 hex in the top which is faster than using a 15mm.
