I guess MTD really likes that deck arrangement. I have an '07 Yard Machines 38" that essentially comes off & goes on the same way. Thus, your video on this newer tractor is one I'll keep for reference as a quick reminder (you did it in less than 10 minutes!). Thanks.

Thanks for sharing, the butterfly clips were a pita, I was amazed still am having an issue with that cable on my XT 2 the rod in the back is not really working properly when pulled out its neutral but when pushed in the mower still moves when pushed, not like neutral but still is able to be pushed. I just replaced my battery, deck belt and mulching blades as regular maintenance looked into the other issue but the mower still works so I think it’s more of a safety thing with the cable.

Can you recommend an aftermarket seat that actually fits and still uses the safety switch?
My 2015 model which still runs perfect is in desperate need of one and Cub wants $300.00 for a new one.
    Great channel, long time sub!

I do not get into changing seats out and If I did I would only recommend an original due to exactly what you just said. I tried looking for one for a customer years ago and found the same issues. Huge waste of time for me and I lost all the way around trying to save my customer $. I would suggest trying to purchase a good used one or find a good comfortable seat cover.

Hi Brad, did you make a deck removal vide for a John Deere S-120? Thanks.

I do not at this time but I'm sure it is close to the S110 if you have a 42" mower deck? and if you have a manual blade engagement. Here is the link to the John Deere S110. czcams.com/video/oWAE1HdKbFs/video.html. I normally do not see the newest models for a couple of years but when I do, I will sure make one.
