I've been a broke gamer my whole life, still am, watching this video made me happy because it helped me learn that I'm not missing out on anything. I only have an OG Xbox hooked up to a CRT and play old 8-16 but games on it, currently I'm enjoying Shining Force on genesis and Hunter The Reckoning. They're gun because games were actually games back then.

I never like online multiplayer and i hate how every game is becoming that very rarely can i find a good single player game

I know the video doesn't mention mobile gacha games, but that applies to them too. I can't pick up another gacha game besides my main, because I know I will need to login daily, grind the weeklies so I don't miss out on the free premium currency, hope and pray you don't fail the 50/50 on banner and sigh... there's not enough time. Even my main game feels like a chore to play at times. And with how yearly Call of Duty releases is being run like a fucking mobile gacha game and some people are fine with that, these people are delusional. Why is the full priced 70 dollar game being run like a free to play game?

Now they have a teaming schedule at Walmart where you have a set schedule. You can do 4-1, 9-6, or 1-10. When I was an assistant manager at subway in college that’s how it was as I never knew when the store manager would schedule me, I never had set days. I’m currently at Walmart for now and I work 9-6 Tuesday - Saturday. That’s so true you never recover and you’re never relaxed when you don’t have a set schedule. No way I could do that now, I was in my early 20s when I managed the subway. I never knew if closers would show up too as I would stay late and I’ve pulled open to closes before when I worked there as did the store manager. At least I got over time. I think Walmart is different now as you are guaranteed 40 hours at Walmart now with a teaming schedule, but that’s how they make you work the hours that they want. They are stingy with who they let become a full time associate though. We get 21 days of PTO if you’ve worked there from 0-2 years which goes up the more you’ve worked there. Btw my degree is in education, which first year teachers, and honestly every job on the market at this point, now pays the same as Walmart. I know many ex teachers who say they’d rather work at Walmart as the pay is basically the same. It’s not the worst job I’ve ever had. Also, I don’t know if this policy was set in place when you worked there, but their is a policy that states employees must not work more than 6 days in a row, unless the employee consents, so if they do that to you you can request a day off from personnel and they have to do it. When I first started working at subway before I was a manager, the old manager would schedule people almost two weeks in a row without any over time as it was in different work weeks. When you’re young you don’t even question anything, you just do it I guess.

Why the hate for this game?

This is the reason why there's so many CZcamsrs dedicated to making Fortnite XP glitch videos. Even the Fortnite creators who just buy all the battle pass tears know there game has become way too grindy

I had this sentiment since the reboot of Modern Warfare in 2019. I’ve been in the loop as long as I can remember, and I tried to unlock every single item in the franchise but in MW3 I felt like it became too grindy so I stopped playing as a whole. Time is invaluable and with that much limited time in my life I would rather have fun trying out new experiences. Your video really summed the reason behind my exhaustion up completely and I thank you for that.

Battle pass should be something that works as a daily reward for a month. Something you get for just logging into the game, it encourages you to play more without it being an obligation, but rather because you know you're going to win something cool if you go in this day and play a little for fun, it's a win win

Titanfall 2 doesnt have a battle pass, Progression comes from playing and that's a very good thing

I'm sure it's not just me, but I never cared nor bought a battle pass, don't care about skins at all; granted, I Love the Battlefield 1 skins but I never bought any with my money, and I did buy the Dolorean in Rocket League, like back in 2017 and I have maybe 2 hours on that game But my point is; Gaymers are hamster-wheeling the fun out of games and that's why the publishers will keep fleecing you

Conan Exiles got finally Magic. Wanted to play a Evil Witch. Couldnt get the Wizard Building Set because it was only in the BP. Got told i need to put more effort or i dont get that stuff from other players. The f$§%&$ stuff dosent need to go away. But it seems to be ""effort"" to some people to play in certain amounts of time in the Year otherwise you cant get the full Game.

If anyone wants a job where you really don't have to deal with this, try full-time overnight security or overnight caregiving--scheduling stuff is different from place to place, but I've never had a problem. It's not glamorous and doesn't pay a whole whole lot, but my mental health has never been better. I make enough to get by with a little leftover, and I've been able to focus on hobbies a lot more. And of you're inclined and can get away with it, you can do a little side business off your laptop while you're at work for some extra cash.

How does one person with limited time for video games have almost 1500 games in their steam library?

Working graveyard shifts,opening day, and half days several times a week while being called 90% of the time on my day off was just so much bs i only could deal with that for 7 months.

MMOs, especially World of Warcraft, are definitely a job, which is why I stopped. There's no content to play for people who just want to goof off for a few hours when you hit max level. Raids, PVP , and high level dungeons are all serious business, and if you aren't following the optimized, ultra-fast meta, then you're kicked out of the group. It's not fun.

I have never liked any game with a battle pass. Not because of the battle pass, but because they arent fun games. Im not motivated by unlocking some rainbow cosmetic garbage or fancy gun. I have put 1000s of hours into games that are fun and have spent plenty on keys in TF2. Because those games are fun.

I haven’t ever had a job at Walmart before, but EVERY time I’m at Walmart for 1 or more hours, I literally start to go insane. It’s all just grey shelving, concrete floors and white walls, just how you explained it. Walmart is just so bland and boring. No color anywhere, no music except the loud “Walmart Radio” thing that you can hear from the PARKING LOT. Sure it has “great deals” but damn it’s just a waste of time to be there. If you go to a Target on the other hand, you feel so much better about yourself. Except until the radio beeping drives you insane. I would rather work at a Walgreens. Maybe I wouldn’t rather do that but you get my point

I just got into retail doing produce because I needed the money. Currently, it is not as bad because I live in a good area, but it is so boring and exhausting. I'm just stocking produce, shucking corn, and wrapping it etc... . I'm definitely going to quit after a year, or even sooner, because I need a job that is more enjoyable and intellectually stimulating, involving work that helps my brain learn and grow.
