I really enjoyed this video! I wondered if the loop texture didn't feel better to step out on And I also wasn't sure how much shrinkage happened based on the calculator. I understand it fit well for the guest room, but I was expecting that you would say how much width you had before you washed versus after washing it. Also, did you wash cold or warm? Did you dry it?

This video puts me in a happy place. Thank you for sharing this and putting me in a great state of mind. I think i will be trying my spinning on my EEW 6.0 outside to get the relaxing vibe. I appreciate you and your creativity!

I am a new spinner/weaver, and have decided to jump in with both feet, and then some! I got a beautiful Jacob fleece, and I think I watched your video about 10 times, including about 3 times as I was going through my washing of it yesterday! You are my hero!! You made the process completely doable for me even though I was terrified! It turned out SO great! It is out finishing the drying on my sweater dryer. I am SO excited and SO thankful for you! I am now watching ALL of your videos, but the washing of the Jacob fleece will always be my fave!!

Your dish towels are beautiful. I have just started weaving and I have so many questions. Did you hem the weave before you took it off the loom? I've been doing a hem stitch on the loom and its not looking correct.

Are you saying that you used the same yarn weight as your tabby/warp thread but doubled them on the shuttle? Essentially you are weaving two yarns into each throw? So if this is what you did you should have doubled the weft yardage in the pattern. Most of these patterns are meant to use two separate weights where one is double the thickness of the other. OR I misunderstood your issue completely, so I have no idea if this was helpful.. lol! Awesome that you went straight to overshot on your new loom! Great video!

Wow, thank you sooo much! I am a really newbie spinner. Loving every minute of it. Everything I learn is from utubes. No local yarn shop or spinners anywhere around me. Every tip I can get is soooo appreciated! I was thinking I will never be a good spinner because I cannot master consistency much. But after listening to you about that subject I thought you are sooo right. It can’t be perfect every time because we are just not machines. Thanks again! 🧶❣️

Love the black with that pop of blue!! Knitting out there with that pool in the back ground looks peaceful and inviting. Our temps and humidity haven’t been conducive to knitting outside, so I knit inside with the air going and look out the sliding glass doors ;).
