So far I'm loving the new spot it's been a little bit of an adjustment but so far I'm like it.

Now that's my kind of fishing! I love watching a cork go under (even when they little). I finally got my Bass Raider. I'm working on some mods and building a trailer, will have it up on my channel when it's ready. Happy 4th my friend!!!!

I personally like where you put it , maybe just raise it up like your thinking but it might get in the way of the trolling motor......but having it higher will make it easier to see......we ain't getting g no younger....lol

I bought a minn kota front mount and mod it to fit my bow mount trolling motor found it on marketplace

It's a motor guide mount and I took my bow mount trolling motor turned the head around and now it's pull string and flipped down and up

Looks great Jett., I have the same boat with a Motorguide XI-3 in the front. I have had my fish finder on the front right of the boat (as your sitting in it) had it there for years now. I like it there because I can see it standing, or sitting, and it's out of the way for getting in and out of the boat, never thought of putting it where you did, I bet it will be great. I have the same 2 Plano boxes you have! They fit great in those boats. Trial and error shows us the way, great videos, good luck.

How fast can you go on that trolling motor alone? Thanks
Well I've not really ran a speed test on my trolling motor but I can recall seeing little over 3 mph on my debt finder while I was moving across a small cove using my trolling motor. Sorry I couldn't give you a concrete proven number but my Bass Raider moves very well in the water. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate you reaching out.
Do you have any issues with flexing when you have the outboard at full speed? Did you do anything to strengthen the transom?
Although it flexes a lil more in the summer it's absolutely nothing to worry I've never had any problems with my outboard slipping. As far as strengthening the transom I've not done anything.

Yeah I caught one a while back on a chatterbait but that only happened because I had backlashed really bad so the jig sat on the bottom of the lake until I got my line right. By then one probably by mistake sucked it up thinking it was something else. 😂

Just a question on stability, I'm disabled (1 leg) and i need a boat that's going to be stable enough to take to my local reservoir that's decent sized, how stable is it in regular boat wakes like bass boat size boats. Would it be stable enough to catfish out of?
You can definitely catfish from this boat as far as stability it's pretty stable in the water. Regular wakes from bass boats are easily handled. It's the Wake Boats you have to keep an eye on because they send the worst wakes. I honestly believe if you can get in and out of the boat safely you should be able to fish no problem. Remaining seated while fishing should definitely be easy to do. Take your time and make your choice whether to buy one or not. Hey understand where you are coming from I myself fish Hartwell, Russell, Greenwood, Keowee and few other very large lakes. I looked at it like this if a person in a Kayak can fish the big lakes it has to be possible to do it in PBR because there's not a kayak made anywhere close to the stability of these boats. Not even half as stable I'm not sure if you have or not but you should look at my 3 yrs review of my boat. Thanks for the tip! Pelican still have not reenforced the front transom! I have a similar setup; I have a Chinese 4 stroke in the rear and a 36lb Newport vessels in the front. Thing were going smooth until I increased the trolling motor to max speed. The trolling motor slid right off the transom as I was making a turn. Lucky for me I caught it in time. i am headed to Lowes and pick up one of those strap ties today!
I'm so glad you didn't lose your trolling motor hopefully my tip will keep your trolling motor in place. If you have some of those grip strips they put on outdoor steps and services that adds even more grip.

What spinning rod set up is that on your drop shot? Is it medium action or medium fast action just fill me in on your rod set up if you will… I feel like my lews spinning rod is too stiff for Ned Rigs and drop shots and I’m pretty sure it’s only a medium action
