Congrats and wish you the best of luck! Only thing that concerns me, is that these events get crazy! Your, going to be in the water with much more powerful and bigger boats! These people will not care if they pass and create a huge wake! Making it very dangerous for smaller vessels ! In, a calm situation it's really not a huge concern ! Just be mindful of this and be safe! It's not worth risking your life!
That's so true I run into that problem alot during the summer months of the year fishing the much larger lakes in S.C. I like to stay off to the side when traveling from point A to B on these larger lakes. Not to far from the sides of the lakes giving those powerful boats the entire middle section of the lakes to run like mad dogs. I'm hoping to find a small area away from the main traffic. Gm tonyb-50 it's a tournament where you can fish on any kind of boat as well as on the banks. Now that the championship tournament is near you only have one place to fish(Lake Sinclair). Qualifying tournaments you had a choice to fish by land or water any public body of water you wanted. Private water was off limits but now it's one lake and one day to make it happen.
First congratulations on the tournament. Next and you may already know this but if you have Google Earth Pro it has a feature where you can "go back in time" and see points structure at different water levels. I have actually watched a man made lake built over time with it. Pretty cool stuff. Good luck and looking forward to seeing you there.
