- Today on Fishing With Jett I have to take some time to handle some much-needed upgrades. It's always smart to perform preventative maintenance in an attempt to prevent a setback while traveling to and from the lake.

Always good to see some maintenance tips. You never know when you’ll need em
So true I realized I better stay on top of all that stuff before I end up stranded on the side of a Rd. You know just be more prepared
Good maintenance information, thanks
Thanks for commenting and watching David. I appreciate it real talk.💯
I love the editing spot in the garage. I have a spare tire for my trailer too but also just carry it in the back of the truck as well. Need to do same thing Jett. Fish on!
Yeah Vance I'm glad I did it it's working perfectly too.
The most important thing is, you made it work!😉I've been doing some research on you tube trying to decide between the "Pond Prowler" and "Bass Raider" boats. This lead me to your channel (and several others). I think we may be neighbors. I'm in Tamassee (between Walhalla and Salem) and fish Keowee, Hartwell and Jocassee. I've been without a boat for a number of years but because of all the development around the lakes, bank fishing is becoming hard so it's time for another boat. Thanks to you and others videos I've decided on the "Bass Raider". Guess I'll be making a trip to Academy in Anderson or Easley soon to get one.😁Thanks, new sub here.
Yes we are practically neighbors we fish some of the same lakes although I've not made it back up to Keowee this Spring yet but I plan to soon. Welcome Welcome to my channel thanks for taking moments out of your busy schedule to check out my channel. Thank you for commenting and sharing your train of thought into making a decision on which boat you wanted. I'm happy that I could assist you in some way with whatever information you needed. It's a huge part of my channel to show others that these really different style plastic boats are really good affordable options to get out on the water and fish. You're so right about how hard it is now to find access to fishing areas now here in South Carolina. The good ole days are far gone now but Welcome to the Bass Raider family I pray you find complete joy in setting up your boat to fit your style of fishing and make many memories in the future. Thanks for watching I really am grateful. Now Go Catch'em 👍🏾
Great job on the maintenance, and man… I really appreciate your review of the tire carrier, because I too have 8” tires and was looking at getting the same carrier. Thanks brother.
No problem at all. Thanks for watching 💯👍🏾

I HAVE THAT SAME BOAT AND TRAILER LOVE IT
Alright, I'm glad you're loving yours like I'm loving mine. Thanks for commenting and watching I really appreciate it. Go Catch'em 👍🏾
You might consider mounting the tire rack to the top of the tongue bar to maximize ground clearance?
I did consider that but choose to mount it to the side mainly because I only fish the main lake that all have boat ramps. It's really not situation I've encountered yet where my tongue scraped the ground. The mount does have a series of holes in it that will allow me to raise the spare up much higher. I'll take another look at the height position when I get home this evening. If need be I'll raise it up higher. Thanks for commenting and I will consider raising it. Thanks for watching 👍🏾
