Persuasion is my favourite J. A. book, and I have absolutely nothing to beef with this adaptation. People should understand one thing, this is 3rd movie adaptation on this book. Sorry but I'm not in to boring repeats, I'm happy each have its own way. If you didn't enjoy it is ok, if you enjoy it is ok.

Fun fact: the real queen Charlotte was very traditionalist and thats why she and her court used this style of clothing, the dresses the debutants wore were also different and matched the queen's taste, the dresses on the show are french debutant dresses, not British ones (sorry for the shitty English)

I loved the butterflies. I didn;t guess until the very last second. "Oh! Butterflies?" and it was and it was beautiful. Butterflies are the symbol of the Featheringtons, like the bee is for the Bridgertons. It was all over their dresses especially Pen's. It's the symbol of change, hope and freedom. Which I think fits the themes of Season 3 very well. Very strong hints that next season will be Bennidict's season. When Eloise said she wouldn't stay away long because she wouldn't miss their mother's masquerade ball. Ben's story begins at this ball. So I can't wait for that!

I read the book. I didn't get very far. I can say that Raquel is worse in the book (as well as behavior). Ares does not look like the one in the movie (Apolo in the movie is the closest to Ares in the book as a visual image). I haven't seen Yoshi yet... and the action takes place in a village in South Carolina.
