We don't know for sure but Kate and Anthony might not have had the kind of relations that Pen and Colin had. In the show we only saw oral, and Daphne and Simon didn't actually do anything except kissing till they were married.

There were some ppl who were loud about not liking the sex scene and I was sooooo nervous cuz I'm rooting for Polin and then.....hoooooo boooooy! I COULDN'T BREATHE! OMG it was so sexy and **intimate**
I loved it because it felt so much more grounded and thus REAL - like, I felt I was watching a real ass couple instead of characters. In real life, people DO communicate during sex, particularly if its the first time, which is incredibly healthy & in my opinion & experience, shows that somebody is ready to do it. But more than anything, I think it truly reflected their personalities & dynamic as a couple: Colin was constantly checking in on her, saying he'll do everything but Pen actively wants to participate & takes initiative like when she grabbed him. Even the slight awkwardness & funny cute moments show they are comfortable with each other instead of trying to play it cool or whatever. And I think the way they took off their clothes is really symbolic for their arcs - Pen got her glow-up & Colin was putting up this swagger front but once they're finally together, it all goes away. UH-MAZING job by Luke & Nicola
People forget they are different couple ofcourse they will have different chemistry and scenes and this is not like other sex scene,it is so different in a good way and so intimate I love it!

* made a public scene to end her engagement to another man.
* declared his feelings for her and compromised pen.
* proposed to her, made it official by discussing it with the head of his family, announced it to the family and "talked" to her mother. He didn't so much ask portia for pen's hand he basically told her he took her hand if portia likes it or not.
* arranged their future home, is already furnishing it and is in the process of moving his belongings in there.
* took pen's virg*nity and possibly created little lord featherington.
No wonder he thinks pen might be overwhelmed. You are moving a little fast buddy. 😂

Cracks me up how everybody in the first season was so 'meh' about Daphne and Simon being alone because nobody had grasped how bad it was yet, but anything in season 3 is 'OMG UNCHAPERONED???' 😂😂
I think my favourite part of this season is Colin rattling Portia so much he inadvertently heals generations of trauma lmaooo
while cressida isn't unintelligent, she really doesn't think that much ahead. she saw the opportunity to escape and tried to take it, but didn't think it through to the next steps: having to prove it to the queen, the real lady whistledown exposing her for lying, etc. it really is her undoing as she doesn't anticipate any countermoves against her.
I think at the time, she was thinking no farther then getting him to break off the engagement

Right. I have a lot of mixed feelings about the season as a whole, but, I still enjoyed the experience watching it. I didn't let my little nitpicking of choices made here and there throughout ruin it for me. Though, I'm curious how the next season will go after how things ended. I know we don't know who the next season will focus on yet.
People are complaining that it’s so different from the 2 previous seasons but forgetting that because of their long standing relationship, the build up from previous seasons, and Pen being Whistledown, Polin have a complete different relationship than Daphmon (?) and Kanthony. Thus, their story has different requirements. We might never get another season like this one.

I hate that Eloise ruined Pen’s enjoyment of her engagement announcement and party with all the pressure to come clean. I do agree that Pen needs to confess before they get married otherwise she would be a hypocrite (keeping a big secret from him like Marina did), but geez give the girl a minute to think.

She can't guarantee that loyalty in a new household and we don't know about her relationship with her maid to be able to tell if she can get any loyalty like that if she can bring her old maid. Plus, loyalty aside, she'll have to make sure it's someone who's either smart enough to be able to pull it off without anyone getting suspicious, or someone stupid or credulous enough to believe that it was something else when they put it in the coffee (saw that in a detective story once, maid was told by her boyfriend to give her boss a 'truth drug', he killed her afterwards even though she figured that he'd probably just given her too much - she was the kind that swindlers would target).
