The whole "slow mo" thing that some controllers did that just rapid fired the start button would only work in games that had a hard pause using start that didn't change to a different screen, was instant to select and resume, and didnt obstruct the screen in any way. Which meant it worked on 1943 and maybe 2 other games.

Given this modern age where companies all want to have their piece of the pie. with all these seperate platforms, I think it’s very impressive how much Valve has managed to maintain the one-storefront model for PC gaming. Even when publishers started to migrate toward hosting their games on their own sites, Steam continues to reign supreme, and now they’re actually starting to bring their game _back_ to it. Granted, you do usually have to make an account to play them, but they’re still accessible through the same library as all your other games; that’s better than where streaming services are at right now.

It's been literally almost 4 years since Peacock started and the only worthwhile original show they have is about a fucking teddy bear voiced by Seth McFarlane.
