If I want crunchiness in a peanut butter sandwich, I'm just gonna toast the bread. Has a much more satisfying crunch. However, I do like putting chips on like meat-based sandwiches, because I'm already gonna eat the chips, plus I can regulate how much of a crunch I get

in concept, or strictly on its own, i prefer crunchy, but every common application of pb i have does not work well with crunchy (not just sandwiches!)
I don't eat crunchy on sandwiches. I do put it on Grahmcrackers for a snack.

Crunchy way better of toast. On a PBH and PBJ, i think creamy is great on white bread, but on wheat, gotta go Crunchy. I assume Scott earz plain white bread.
