Our final stop in Iceland was Seydisfjordur. This waterfall, by comparison, was the tamest of those we had seen. The walk, to reach it, however, was the trickiest.

Thi next video is further down the river. The wind was strong, (I had to hold tight onto my camera phone), it was cold, but the scenery amazing. There was, if you look closely a small tributary, adding to the waterflow. Moving to our left, the water flowed down river, under the bridge. When we crossed it, we had to brave ourselves, as though walking in a hurricane. But was it worth it? Definitely!

As we walked away from Godafoss waterfall itself, several hundred metres down river, this beautiful sight, of the water charging down stream, surrounded by the rocky landscape, made for a beautiful view.

I've just disembarked this ship this morning, and can confirm it's still absolutely identical to this video, I thought the balcony cabins on this ship would be much bigger (specifically longer) than they actually are!

I really love the sheltered balconies on QM2. You get all the delights of a balcony and an extraordinary view, but also with the utmost privacy.

Thanks for this - already subscribed so can’t add to your count but was just wondering whether the cabin was darker because of the overhang we were on deck 17 in a normal balcony size cabin and we needed the lights on all the time - we are booked in one of these cabins on Arvia next year and wondered about light, we will be on deck 14 though
This is my only experience of Iona and an overhang, but I would say that it was darker

The only noise was from people walking around on the deck above.

Cabin and balcony look really small. No promenade deck so I won't go on her.
There is a Promenade deck on her, Deck 8 with Balcony cabins there as well.
Promenade deck is deck 8. Cabin and balcony are smaller than some other ships.

Whoever came up with the crazy idea of the promenade balcony cabins and the corner ones that overlook other cabins should be made to walk the plank. The big problem is that Arvia has been designed exactly the same way. Bad move P&O.

From memory yes. Also avoid the balconies on deck 4 or 5. These are sheltered.

From memory it was shaded all day, but we weren't in the cabin to tell. If you're a sunbather, I would probably avoid this cabin.

It's vital to use a tripod when filming off the tv. And the picture needs to be center. I've made a couple and they came out okay. Gotta be done properly.

Too bad passengers never see the crew below decks. These crews do your laundry etc.
I cruise and I have big respect for the crew below deck and the cabin crew. I've aways found the English crew to be abit full of there self think the fame go to there head makes them abit rude.

Those balcony choices are a minefield !
Still waiting to see an inside cabin don't think any one has one
Unfortunately all I can say is that they are smaller than the inside cabins on Azura and Ventura. On the aforementioned vessels, the inside cabins are 159sq ft. On Iona, they are 134. Good luck in your search.
