Geysir

Our tour of Iceland has now reached a water spout. Due to natural forces, such as heat, water is forced to the surface and every five to ten minutes, will erupt with such force as to catapult it into the air, by several metres.
Care must be taken, where you are standing, to avoid being sprayed with very hot / boiling water.
Due to the regular eruptions, the area down wind feels like a sauna. It is quite a strange feeling, in such an otherwise cool climate, to experience this.
