Isafjordur 2

Following on from my first video of Isafjordur, where we approached the coastline and took a look at the area around us, I felt such was the beauty of the location, that a second shoot was warranted.
Here we are, at the beach, however, the tides in and so we are unable to see it.
On the right, we have some land reclamation taking place. It was slightly amusing watching the CAT carrying out the job, as periodically the operator would dunk the bucket into the water, presumably to clean it; but I attempted to make a video with a voice-over in the style of a natural world presenter, saying the cat was having a drink, but it didn't work out. Oh well, perhaps next time.
We can also see some buildings to the left too. One interesting fact told to me by two locals is that the same word is used, in Icelandic for church and coughing, or choking. Bizarre, eh?
