    • @HexaPig

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel Před 3 měsíci

      You can either make the hub holes larger IF there's enough material around them to allow them to be drilled out, or add a washer underneath the nipple so it doesn't pull through the rim hole with a 12g spoke. I'd say drilling out is ideal as the nipple can sit in the rim at the correct angle if possible.

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel Před 10 měsíci

      You could connect two sabvotons to a single throttle just by putting the 5v, signal and gnd wires from the throttle connectors in parallel then connecting them to the throttle itself. Two motors to one controller won't work as the hall sensor signals will be different for each one and will muck up the sabvoton. I believe you can get some models of sabvoton with a CAN bus interface too so could digitally pass on the throttle signal but not sure of the details on that...

    Hi. But you can't stamp the VIN number by yourself. It has to be done by professional garage they have to stamp it, sign the form then you have to send it to DVLA. It's so difficult to find garage to do it for you. It's not usual and they think you trying to scam or lie to them.

    hey i got a question for ya. i took my motor apart to rewire it and like an idiot i did it while i was tired and never took pics. now it would be pretty simple if it was just hall wires connected to a pcb to sensor but my setup has no pcb for the sensors. its straight twisted wire and ghetto i couldnt believe it when i opened it up but im pretty sure its not connected correctly. i was wondering if u knew if there was a video i could just take a look at to see the wire placement for non pcb board hall sensors.

      Yeah if you can lace pretty much any hub to any rim as long as the spokes fit both

    My hub motor quit working suddenly and there is still resistance in the hub motor. So I’m going to take it apart to see if I can find the problem. It’s a cheap 1200w direct drive

      Mine did the same thing. Did you ever take yours apart and figure out what the problem was?

      No not yet. I was riding on trails and the bumping shook something loose I believe. If I find the problem I’ll post it to you

    Have you heard anything back yet? I applied online for a test date a month ago and nothing... No email ... No phone call... And I can't find a number to phone them on specifically for this issue. You would think as the next step is me paying them 85 quid they would be a bit more speedy, unless there stringing everyone out as they know there's a price increase coming.....

      I heard back in a few days so not sure what's going on with you! You should have at least got an acknowledgement of receipt?

    • @nicod974
      @nicod974 Před rokem

      In France, if you don't get a reply 2 working months after your request, it's automatically granted, as long as you kept the acknowledgement of receipt Also, experienced drivers automatically can drive a 2 wheels vehicle under 11kw

      I eventually emailed them on the old email address that worked, I said I've followed the instructions and no one has phoned me, his reply, yeah we don't always do that you need to phone in and book ...... So they may let may not do what the website says they will..... Anyhow as I had lost a bit of time I went modifying and changing things (and then the bike theft) so didn't phone them, I'm only just now back to being ready after a big charger upgrade and improved alarm. 'watch this space' as they say

      @@nicod974 well I know its been 4 months since my original comment but i dont work fast! update: bike is once again ready to go for test after the repairs caused by the theft, so i phoned them today 20th july... they cant take my payment I dont have my TASS number, which i should have got months ago, and the technical team want further info, and its all down to me not replying to an email I have no record of... like what the hell is going on in that office!

    When you charge the battery using the ant bms do you have to turn the discharge mosfets off? Or do you leave charge and discharge on at the same?

    • @EverythingEbikeChannel
      @EverythingEbikeChannel Před rokem

      I leave them off in the app (just turn charge ones on) but I think it will handle that automatically so no need to worry about it.
