this club has a massive problem with right wing shitheads in the fandom, you can see their banners very prominently (5:06) ''Boxstaffel Hooligans'' and ''Karlsbande''. And the shocking part is, those people are on good terms with the club leadership, they got a free pass to display their banners while anti-racist or antifascist fans would have to literally fear for their lives if they showed up on matchday, not getting any protection from the club. The club-leadership even refused to participate in a big demonstration opposing far-right politics, claiming they didn't want the divide of society, which is just.....so revealing (and people act like all of that stuff was an east-Germany problem lmao) scary stuff. Do not glamorize what's happening with Alemannia Aachen.

Only 40 years old and virtually created out of thin air but OM PSG is actually hateful for so many reasons : historically people living in the country side hate Paris and its region because that's where the kings would stay , it's the capital and the symbol of Power and oppression . Paris also always seem to get everything : if you put on the TV they talk about Paris in the news , most of the job opportunities are in Paris , when tourist think France they actually think Paris ... and so on . So the countrymen have developped a inferiority complex while the Parisians developped the superiority complex and that's the true nature of the rivalry : Capital against the country . Biggest city vs 2nd biggest. Canal+ (who was the ligue 1 broadcaster at the time and owned PSG) capitalised on those historical animosities and transformed it in FACTUALLY (no matter many st etienne and Lyon fans try to tell you otherwise) THE SINGULAR BIGGEST rivalry in france . Supporters couldn't come to each others game because of the violence it would incites and we still can't go to this day . In 2009 a match was canceled because a supporter of psg with the ultras got hit by a car died after being in a coma for month after gruesome fights in the city of marseille . That's the level of violence that you are gonna find nowhere else in france . We hate each other for real . Other rivalries in france could never compare .
