    We’ve been using these all season while Fliteboarding. Main tip is to use with Shokz open ear headsets. The wind noise can make it hard to hear at flying speeds. The Shokz stay on in a crash, are highly water resistant, and you can hear much better without losing the sounds of your surroundings. It’s ideal for teaching! Plus, they are having wireless software updates that are adding more benefits as they continue to develop the system, just like Tesla. Finally, we tried the clip and the arm band, and the arm band is most secure but not as convenient. I think there is room for improvement in this area still. Overall we are very happy with our Milo’s!

    I have a crack leading edge of my wing. it is very fine but when you squeeze the front of the wing i can see water squish out. Should I try to drill holes or something to make sure all water is out before trying to repair using your method?

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před 4 dny

      @@mikeb4414First of all I would let the wing in the sun for at least one day to evaporate the water… now you could drill the wholes to give a better strength to the relaid… however it friends where on the leading edge is… if the crack is in the mid of the ring go ahead, but if is in the ends I would not. But make sure that you will fill up the holes with resin. Also make sure you are wearing s face mask when you are sanding the carbon

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před 5 dny

      @@michaelvadney5803 Hello… to be honest o could not tell you for sure. But I don’t think would be much. Maybe 10% on your learning curb cause your “take off” will take longer at first… but the problem is not there… even after you get better the air is a bit “bulky” and trust me that volume in a windy day make a big difference. Honestly if this going to be “YOUR” board and not many people will be using then I would go for the fiber glass cause it will deff be your “progression” any way and is deff worth the extra $$$. But if you are sharing this board with tons of friends and family and you are no using it all the time, then the air will be a better choice. I hope this helps. Cheers and have fun with your new toy. Rolando - I used the Milo to teach one of my sons to ride my Fliteboard in Qatar. He said that he learnt a lot quicker than my other son who I didn't use the Milo with. I had a big area of water for them to learn in and when they got better I just got them to pass into range each time they did a pass. Very useful tool. I actually left one on the beach at low tide - came back after 2 days, found it and it worked perfectly after being submerged for say 18 hours. Liked seeing the old historical area.

However after talking to several friends at Flite HQ I can say that is a solid piece of gear… off course they will say that. But I seeing them and they are “from another planet”… look wise you will drool on them. Now let’s talk in a common sense to what it is. The longer mast will off course be a better option that is worth having for sure (specially if you get into surfing or dowinding), the carbon will make it lighter for sure and I think for the fact is made out one piece it will make more resilient (I could not say his much more in comparison with the aluminum)… finally the wings and fuselage itself… when the fuselage alone is smaller and off course that will translate in a more efficient and even more stable e foil… now on the top of it all if this is not enough .. if you get it you will be the coolest dude around first sure lol. You can buy one and sent to me so I can test it for you lol lol. Honestly bud… “we live only once”… go for it! You will not regret it!…You deserve to have the best Efoil in the planet. The VX served its purpose in the past...Now I like the VW van to carrie my Efoil gear...The VX is too small for that...so it is not about performance at all...I have my performance car, my day to day car, my fun car....The VX was just sitting in my back year and I had no use for it...so rather then letting is die and sold to some one who would enjoy more then I already did....No regrets at all...and now that the VW is almost perfect I can actually sale for much more them what I bought it for...the VX can only flip up to about 10K in value now days...my VW now is value at 20K now cause everything is working very well...So financially was deff a good move and I have no regrets...Also the plan is not to stop here...the plan is to use the VW for another year...Sale it and them finally get a WINNEBAGO EKKO...so while you "think small" im actually moving forward...cheers mate

    Here in Europe, even eFoils aren't allowed on many lakes, with drastical fees. Not even thinking about a jetBoard. But all jetboards sold in Europe are electric, using the same batteries as eFoils. I don't think any 2stroke engine would get any licence in Europe. So if you're a long way from the ocean, a wingFoil would probably be the way to go, because it's very hard to regulate non motor powered toys.

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před 21 dnem

      Yes...I understand that in Europe things are much more restricted....bit out of the 3 sports and lets say we did not had to worry so much like the restrictions like there is in Europe .... I still thing that the best thing is the efoil cause is the best of both worlds... Wing foiling is great and peaceful but the learning curb is hard...not anyone can just learn it and also you depend on the wind to have fun...if is a day without wind you will just have to stay home...the jesurf is noise and makes smoke...but is also very fun and very aggressive...that is why the efoil is deff the best choice out of the 3 in my opinion. But for each their own for sure.

      Great for you...it all depends on what wing you are using too...but keep one thing in mind...speed is your friend...Just like a plane can "stall" at lower speeds...so the slower you go the more unstable and unbalanced your board will be...the fast you go the more stable your board will be...but also the faster you go the more lift you will have so you have to bring your point of balance forward...a couple inches moving forward will be enough....thank you for the comment and have fun out there

    The main reason I can do the heel side turn more extreme is that the back foot is then on the top side of the board. So I can move as much weight on the back foot as I like and get the board safely to an angle, my wing tip gets out of the water. Doing the same on the toe side, the back foot is on the low side of the board, and putting even more weight on the back foot would lead the board to topple inside the curve.

That is normal...you always will be strong in one side then the other...you just got to practice your weak side for longer rides...try to stay on your weak side longer then in your strong side...I cant even switch ...so I get blow down wind lol...I just got to be careful on the day when the wind is blowing off shore otherwise I can come back home...it sounds like you are doing much better than I lol

    I bought jetsurf electric and gasoline, all of them have electrical problems. It is difficult to replace engine parts and open the battery box. Over time, it will corrode. I do not recommend it. I recommend it for the ease of replacing spare parts I recently bought gasoline for the ease of replacing spare parts, but over time you will not enjoy it and it does not work well . Now I bought it for the ease of exchanging spare parts, because the engine is easily replaced without disassembling the battery room. Efoil All the devices are outside the belly, and this is what is special.

      Thank you for the feed back… I did not know was hard to find parts for Jetsurf. I guess the e-foil tops in that too… so I would assume another plus score for e-foils… thank you for letting us know

    Would this be good for the riviera maya? What happens if I slip? Does the board go flying forward and hard to get back lol or can you attach to it?

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před měsícem

      I was not sure e what “riviera maya” was… so I did a search. Beautiful place. Fliteboard is great for any place however you got to be careful not to ride in very shallow places (off course)… if you slip and fall the board stops and will not go far… however you got to be careful not to fall in front of your Efoil… to get back on the foil, after getting to your bard you just lay down on it and start to the process of “getting speed” and getting up. I do not recommend for you to have a “strap” on the board. Depending how you fall they could pull your leg hard. If you are not so familiar with the sport of Efoil I recommend for you to watch my video “how to Fliteboard”… it wil answer all your questions and doubts… is a long video but it will help you a lot even as “how to fall off” the board. I hope it will help you and please leave a comment on that video if it helped you… here is the link… czcams.com/video/wnHXMFuHysg/video.html

    Hi there Roly, loving your videos bro. I have both, and like your friend I too started on the jetboard. However I must say I prefer the jetboard. It's like snowboarding or skateboarding, but on the water. I do agree with your comments on leg fatigue, especially if it is in gnarly conditions, a real quads workout for sure🦵😂. What I think you missed out on saying about the efoil is that it will try to hurt you 🤪🤪🤪 if you fall off badly. I am just recovering from a flyer 1100 wing hiting me just under my knee, badly bruised and painful too, but I guess this is part of the learning curve. So I am more 60/40 in favour of the jetboard, but like you discussed in the video, it's all about experience and I'm lacking this on the efoil..... so maybe I could change my voting further down the line 😊..... Happy surfing guys 🏄‍♂️☀️⛱️🍻

      Im so sorry for taking too long...apparently when I reply to you for the first time it did not got send to you...Let's see now....Yes...every sport has a kind danger to it...I also recovering form a nice scratch on my shin...and it happen not even when I was riding... walked into the wing lol...But for each their won...But this video was about if you have to pick ONE due to the cost and pros and cons of dealing with setting up, where to go and environmental concerns ... them off corse I pick Fliteboard...But as I explain to my friend and this might get to you as well...he is extremely good at netsurf...but once those skills get as good on flitebaord I can guarantee that he will pick Flite...the same might happen to you...thank you for the comment bud and have fun out there

      LOL for sure...for each their own... I do prefer the efoil as well anytime...But I think if I was younger and with better knees I could find myself enjoying the jetsurf...but the video is about choosing one...so on that note the Fliteboard deff take it...thank you so much for commuting and I appreciate you takin the time to watch the video...looking forward to see your comments in the next videos...cheers

    Once again another great video Coach! I am in the Middle East in a place with minimal support - but it had a place for lessons. 5 lessons in and I was struggling (Flite Air but with what I later found out had the wrong wing / mast set up) in a choppy sea. This meant I was wary about taking the plunge to buy - however it's your series of videos where a rider actually explains the board / wings etc (and now the foot stance) that gave me the balls to buy a Flite last October as I realised the people doing the lessons has the wrong set up. Now the company I bought mu Fliteboard through has turned into a dealer .... and the kite school still struggle with giving people lessons. I got my board with extra wings and the result is perfect for me and teaching my fiends to fly. This video explains the stance perfectly. Last week I had a friend with SUP experience try and fly with their feet side by side and them facing forward as this is their "natural stance" - they didn't last long!! Thanks a lot Coach Rolando.

    What happens when your legs get tired after 3 minutes…

      @Coach_Rolando Před měsícem

      You just need to practice more… you will built up tolerance… my back leg used to burn… now I rarely feel anything unless I’m really going fast non stop and carving really hard… like everything else… just keep on practicing practicing … would not hurt to lift some weights. You will be fine

      I was told if your back foot gets tired, move you body towards the back to use less back foot pressure and vise versa for the front foot

    Totally agree Rolando. Heal side turn easier to learn and can carve harder. Toe side is a leap of faith some days. I have found from watching other folks ride I have same setup but turn my front foot more sideways and look into the turn and for some reason helps carve harder toe side. Again like you said what works and feels good. Thanks for your videos!

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před měsícem

      Glad to hear that man,...Yes, good point as well...when turning into the toe side is good to look into the turn and ahead...never down...but try to "grab the board" with your toes...what that does get all your tendons on your feet and ankles to be firmer providing a more stable platform...it works amazingly...More videos coming up soo...pleas share and stay tuned...enjoy your summer riding brother

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando Před měsícem

      All runs on every board where done with 800 flyer and 290 stab. I kept the same set up on all of them to show the difference...I basically just changed the foil from one board to the other...If you have any question or doubts feel free to contact me...I hope this was helpful. Cheers

  • @shawndugan8035
    @shawndugan8035 Před měsícem

    I really like the Efoil solutions negative shims. I’m flying with a 1300 flow S wing with a -2 shim and a -1 shim with my 290 stab. I also use the battery box seal protection because I already ripped a seal off my board before this nice little seal guard was invented. Everone should get one before you tear your seal off and have water intrusion into your battery box!!! Nice and level ride now with the negative shims and no more nose in the air. Still nice and loose and better control now with efoil solutions negative shims. I’m thinking about getting the efoil solutions efoil cart and I’m hoping Jeff at efoil solutions will send you one so that you can do some videos for all of us to see.
