I absolutely agree w/ subscriber Fluterra , thought, hat after spending up to $25k+ for board, wing sets, stab sets, shim sets, impact vest, safety head gear, and all the appropriate cases for all this equipment, Fliteboard should take heed to this DYI video you made and go back to the drawing board at the factory to revise the race wing manufacturing process. I do appreciate your penchant for DYI, but as a personal thing, I myself am very reticent to DYI modifications after spending so much hard-earned $$$. Hope your L knee is healing nicely. I understand your point...but as I mention...All "foil companies" have the same problem...sometimes is hard to see or notice the "minor defects" until you get in the water. Like the other companies...Armstorng and Axils (leading companies on surf foils, kite, wing foil and so on)...they can't test all the wings they make...I understand your point on paying so much on a gear that has a defect...but that is why they dont mind on fixing it...but I just rather do myself them wait to get it back. Im glad to know that this was helpful.
Also important to note: This is a pretty rare circumstance. As he mentioned, Flite will immediately replace any wing with this attribute or defect including any component that is not operating as as it should.
Yes for sure… I’ve been up to 33Mph and the 3 mph makes a world of diff… luckily I have not fall at those speeds … I hear the record is 35mph … when I go to my 33Mph I only did it for about 10 secs… too scary and you got to be at the right place with the right conditions
I have not tried the jet yet...I might be able to try it tomorrow...not sure if I will have the time...but that is a plan....I work on my next video as we speak....so hang in there
@@Coach_Rolando I just got the Jet. Love it! It sounds a bit louder than the Prop (without Guard) at lower speeds, but is quieter above 30 kph. The Jet is a bit “whiny” below that, but it’s not bad.
@@Fluterra I had not the chance to try the jet yet .... I hear it has more torque .. that is why you have to change the setting on your controller....but I hear it is super smooth and stable...not ideal for surfing...but great for cruising.....none of the less the good thing is that you can change to the propeller if you want....did you get the propeller set uo too? Good to know that you like it....I was talking to Rudy...major guy for Flite here in the us...it looks like a lot of people are getting it over the props ....you are lucky to get one lol...congrats
@@Coach_Rolando yes, I have a the prop as well. A dealer can convert a Series 2.2 to a 3 - you don’t need to buy a new eFoil. The Jet is really smooth, especially in turns, and gives you more throttle modulation and control. Compared to the Prop without a guard, the Jet is a bit more “whiny” in terms of sound, until you get to about 30kph, and then it is quieter.
They can t test all the wings...and as I said....all companies that makes wings has that problem...I found that out because I also do wing foiling...Armstrong and Axis are 2 major "foiling" companies who makes kite foiling, surf foils, wing foils and they have the same problem sometimes ... Most of us on the "wing foil" community are used on doing the 'fixing"...But I see your point.

30 mph is really moving! Falling off at that speed must be pretty nasty.

How do you find motor noise between the Jet and Prop (without the guard)?
