Ecg is cool, ive had it on my apple watch for years - tbh, i only used it in the first week or 2 cause i thought is was cool. But thereafter never really thought if it again. I know a friend of mine who uses the huawei watch gt4 and its ecg feature actually notified him to go see a dr which saved his life!

I dont know about you but i dont send texts with my watch haha but you are right at only 20% the price of an apple watch you cant expect it to do EVERYTHING the apple watch can do

@@WeDoTech typing short message to sender when you dont have your phone near (for example while doing some exercise) is great thing, and most of the time you cannot do it with short reply. Many review videos say that this is Apple watch killer, but a smartwatch in 2024 could and should have qwerty keyboard. But ok, lets say this thing is not important, missing altimeter is really bad thing. Watch is fitness and outdoor oriented, includes all kind of sports, but is missing the most important ones which include measuring altitude. My old GT had this 4 years ago for the same price. Another minus from me are messed notifications. If one person sends you few messages (lets say in messenger), all of them will appear as notification, but only last one will stay in your watch. In addition, if you read it, notification is lost from watch. My old WATCH GT had all notifications staying for whole day, or until i delete them. You have up to 10 available apps for download, most of them are paid and dont work properly. They have sync issues.

Very true, but still it remains a big selling point that's not there, the accuracy compared to the samsung watches are great, the readings are very similar😎👌

Yeah, I Thought so too initially, but unfortunately, due to regulation issues Huawei isn't allowed to have NFC activated on the watches outside of Mainland China. So for some people when you just get your watch and set it up, it might look like you have NFC but then as soon as the watch firmware updates it goes away. Maybe in the future we might still get access to NFC though! Let's be hopeful!

@@WeDoTech yes im guessing the same that all of them have same hardware just disabled by firmware. Im in vietnam ppl are using nfc to unlock door locks but haven't seen anybody pay contactless.

​@@WeDoTechThe one for R3499 has NFC. The Grey nylon strap and white leather strap only. It's for the OneHop feature and payment to possibly come later.

@@erroruine yeah, that’s what my sources said - i mean, all the versions of the watch cost exactly the same, so i would believe that all of them have the same internals too

Yeah thats what i was also thinking... like it's tiny drawbacks that all have easy fixes. The huawei watch fit 3 is probibly the best buy on the market right now!

exactly! VERY premium device, without a premium price - if i was looking for a new smartwatch and my budget was around 100-200 usd i would get this one

Yeah it really has everything you need, almost everything but the premium feel and design will make a the difference!👌

The one for R3499 has NFC and they said payments could come later.

its so crazy to think huawei can make their watches last for 10 days but apple and samsung struggle to give us one full day

CZcams converts any 360 video content to this zoomed in VP9 codec that loses a lot of quality...thye problem is the ratio of the 360 content and that it can't be converted to 16:9

Yeah I wouldn't say it's not for audiophiles because, considering how they lay in your ear, they really sound great...but if your into an immersive audio experience...maybe look elsewhere.

Yeah this isn't just another attempt at making a fold phone, the Honor V2 might be the new benchmark, and as you said, with it being so light and thin it fits so easily into your lifestyle. What do you think Honor can change when it comes to their software to bring it up to par with Samsung?

@@WeDoTech, thanks for the follow-up message! One thing I miss is being able to spilt apps horizontally(the option is is on my phone but I can't click on it). Another one would be to be able to save app pairs to a folder. But honestly, like said before it is AMAZING how light this is and it made me stop wanting to use my Pixel Fold(GREAT phone but felt like a HEAVY BRICK by comparison). You should do the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro if you have the chance; a FANTASTIC phone which I just got. Anyways definitely curious to see what the Honor Magic V3 has to offer(wireless charging + official water resistance?)
