      @@WeDoTech i have been playing with it for a solid 11 hours now and its the perfect fit for me. my needs are a simple straight forward AOD with timer function and also to receive notifications when out and about. i dont use any of the fitness stuff or sensors built in. initially i was going to go with a simple casio digital watch with timer but then i stumbled upon this huawei with great battery life compared to most smart wahtches that only lasts a day or two which is why i held off for so long to get one. this watch is very comfortable on my wrist and its easy to find just the right fit with the classic buckle system. the low profile and lightweight makes it very little noticeable in everyday life. the only negative is the vibration motor which is weak even on the highest strenght but it helps alot with the speaker going at the same time. but then again concidering the price i feel like i got alot for my money. i give the full experience a solid 8.1 out of 10.

    I hyave the GT4 and I am planning to get this. I'll keep the GT4 as a dressy watch, and this one as my main fitness monitor. I love Huawei. Also for the fact that, unlike Fitbit and Apple, they have so many health offerings right there in the app, at no extra cost. Plus their version of Relive (Dynamic Tracking) is the icing on the cake. Another perk at no extra cost, for those who, like me, after they finish a run, or cycle or hike, whatever, wanna watch it back.

      @WeDoTech  Před 22 dny +1

      Yeah, I know but it just feels like they forgot about giving the rest of the world NFC, it's such an important factor in wearables these days, the only reason that it can be that NFC may not be there is that they forgot to put it in?

    • @djbenr10
      @djbenr10 Před 22 dny +1

      @@WeDoTech They haven't forgot let me help you out, Huawei is banned in US and UK/EU banks are not supported with Huawei for political reasons, FIT3 there is NFC capability because it's being used right now In mainland China ONLY, people are creating this Fantasyland it works with the grey band it doesn't all FIT3 has NFC but it's hidden by the firmware update, my prediction is we will see NFC on Huawei wearable one day but ONLY through a 3rd party app like Curve where Curve works on Huawei phones in UK/EU but not yet Wearables, on the other hand if you live in the US forget it. Currently NFC works on phones through 3rd party so why not wearable? It will happen but only through 3rd party app.

    Why don't you just bring cash with you. Doesn't have to be the full wallet bulk. NFC not a deal breaker. Bezels complaint is also not so important for me.
    However, what is a deal breaker for me are 2 things:
    1) if the watch cannot pair with an external heart rate sensor. I do interval trainings, and HR on wrist-based not as accurate as arm or chest straps.
    2) GPS accuracy - comparison of distance/pace vs. say your apple watch
    It would be great you demo these fitness-specific features, i'm sure most of your viewers who run or do heart-based training will appreciate the information

    • @WeDoTech
      @WeDoTech  Před 22 dny

      Cash is the solution but the extra step to get some cash in hand will, for some, myself included, be somewhat of a hassle and a watch with NFC is very convenient.
      Regarding the GPS accuracy, I've actually compared the Huawei GT4 watch with my Apple watch series 8 and the GT4 is hands down more accurate than the Apple, over consecutive runs. The GT4 is not the Huawei Fit3 tough and the GT4 is equipped with a GPS and the fit3 is not...but will do a comparison shortly so I'll let you know!👌

      @@WeDoTech typing short message to sender when you dont have your phone near (for example while doing some exercise) is great thing, and most of the time you cannot do it with short reply. Many review videos say that this is Apple watch killer, but a smartwatch in 2024 could and should have qwerty keyboard.
      But ok, lets say this thing is not important, missing altimeter is really bad thing. Watch is fitness and outdoor oriented, includes all kind of sports, but is missing the most important ones which include measuring altitude. My old GT had this 4 years ago for the same price.
      Another minus from me are messed notifications. If one person sends you few messages (lets say in messenger), all of them will appear as notification, but only last one will stay in your watch. In addition, if you read it, notification is lost from watch. My old WATCH GT had all notifications staying for whole day, or until i delete them.
      You have up to 10 available apps for download, most of them are paid and dont work properly. They have sync issues.

      Apple Watch probably has worst notification feature. I never used it to reply from watch, it’s always from phone. I realise, most features you initially get excited about looses its charm within few days and you realise you spend most days frustrated because your watch went off due to low charge (it needs charge every single day).

    • @davor7764
      @davor7764 Před 27 dny

      @@kennyzraht5804 Ok, if you have such hard time to understand, try to picture this situation (it should be fairly easy): My fitness trainer is very busy man (with all the clients). During the training session with a person, in gym outfit, and with cell phone in locker room, someone sends important message about delayed training, shifted session...or literally anything else. Instead of aborting training, going to locker room and type on the cell phone, he spends 10 seconds without moving 1meter and inputs any type of personalized message (or even answers important call). The same principle applies to me too, during workout or something else. Here is another scenario which should be easy to picture. Not all people have bluetooth in car, and when someone calls you during driving, basically, smartwatch does what car bluetooth does, helps you answer the call with much better quality...while still holding your both hands on the wheel. I am sure there are plenty more situations which you can picture in order to understand other people.
