Sorry for your issue. I rebuilt my lb7 duramax myself and have no issue. Learn your engine watch building video and get a manual for reassembly. You will learn so much. You already learn a lot with all your videos but learn your engine and build it yourself

Hey Justin, my tuck suddenly wouldnt start but cranked fine. Noticed my factory power cable that goes to the alternator grounded to my alternator. Cleaned it up and reconnected but cable was still burnt. Truck still won't start. Do you think I just need to replace the burnt cable because its not getting the amps it need to trip the relay or whatever for it to start? Everything else is good as far as sensors and ficm.

Venting to atmosphere is 1 of the dumbass things u could do.1 ur turbo makes a vacuum and sucks out crank case pressure..if u vent to atmosphere, the pressure inside ur engine will get to hi and u will start to have oil leaks..that best case scenario ..most of time it will blow ur turbo seals and u can have run away...most shops want warranty a turbo or engine work ,if u vent to atmosphere....there is nothing wrong with getting oil in turbo or cac pipes from stock setup...diesel will run on oil and it helps lube the turbo. It was designed to do this
