Hot shoe Spirit Level triple axis test for accuracy
zhlédnutí 2,5KPřed 9 lety
Tested with small square and found base is not perpendicular spirit level side Also placed on a table on it's side and spun 180 degrees the bubble should be stay in same position. For example if edge of bubble is right on left line when it is spun 180 degrees the edge of bubble should still be on the left line.
hotshoe bubble on camera test
zhlédnutí 1,4KPřed 9 lety
Video from my Samsung S2 mobile phone Hotshoe bubble doesn't correspond with cameras digital level. Flipping the hotshoe bubble around on the hotshoe shows it is not accurate as the bubble should stay in the same position from the center, the bubble shifts from the left side to right side when flipped. Does the same testing on a flat table

Please be careful - cutting MDF board is hazardous to health.
Battery power how much hours?😊
How this machine call?
Cuts well in 3 cm of wood!

My old haunt ,carnt believe how popular these tracks are
Thnx alot pls what Is the Name of the machine brand
I'm in Ghana, can we have the list of the materials used please

What is the idea of the video????
Hello Derek - thanks for the 'how to'. I have a similar project in mind: mounting a 15" x 12" photo printed canvas art piece to MDF? board. The artwork was originally mounted to a hollow wood frame but was found to have lost important details due to wrapping around the frame. Artwork thus has crease lines along both short sides. How best to mount? Is 1/2" or 3/4" MDF best? Should I use adhesive film vs 3M-like spray adhesive? Should I place board over artwork mounted MDF and clamp tight for maximum adhesion and minimal visible crease?
Come on men...
Sharp chain? Or light wood?
He's just finishing cuts, that log is already cut from the other side.
OH LOOK.. I don't know how to talk!!!

cost???
Finishing a cut... Handy until it gets really cold, then a joke...
I'm in awe!
What laminate do you use for this process?
hi
This would be helpful if you mentioned the brand. That way we could avoid this one since there are several brands producing the same product.
Where do I buy those scissors?
hello, what double sided adhesive do you use? Is it acid free? Thank you
wow
Great video thanks! Would you say it's necessary to mount with heat or cold mounting would be just fine for this process? Thanks
Either hot or cold mounting I think will be fine.
What the fuck is this supposed to be, weird
very impressive
Simply amazing... thanks for sharing
Years ago they used to have a sliced away boarder - has that gone out of fashion now?
"Sliced away border" if that's like a beveled edge on the mdf board it's an optional thing. I like the simple square edged look on the sides

Good job man. Accurate and efficient

What is that brand bike
Bike was made up from parts I purchased, Frame imported from China
Yes, I have found these to be totally useless too. Add movement in the hot shoe to the above flaw.
2019?
You may know how to operate scissors but you have no clue how to use a circular saw. That blade is way to high it only needs to be 10mm higher than wood being cut and that will bring the guard and riving knife down too. You only have two hands look after them !!!
Not practical for me to have the blade low as the extractor hood would obscure the blade from sight and I want to see the blade when cutting materials. If I had no hood I would have the blade lower as blade and material being cut would then be visible. Using saw benches and other machinery for 43 years doing my time as a coach builder in a large workshop with 600 worker, around 150 other coach builders and do take safety seriously. Have all my finger never come any where close to losing them.
Completely useless video
what type of spray did you use please
Use PlastiKote Satin Super , satin black plastikote.co.nz/products
Hi Derek, do you train/consult at all?
Where can I find the laminating machine?
A little voice explaining what your doing and how would have been nice
Not exactly. The length of the film would be double.
What kind of self adhesive photo paper is this? Would you prefer to laminate a print and apply adhesive on the back at the same time as you showed in one of your other videos?
This paper is a product from Sihl. Sihl Imola satin self adhesive photo paper. If the paper requires laminating, applying the self adhesive film and pressure sensitive laminate onto the paper at the same time is one step operation compared two step applying them separately. If the print to be mounted onto a board doesn't require a laminate finish can just use a self adhesive paper, self adhesive backing board or apply a self adhesive film to the back of the paper or the board to mount onto.
Hi, am impressed by your work. Any email contact I can reach you..?
contact details are on my web site www.artprint.co.nz
Another piece of history has been demolished
Hi Derek I like your work very much. Can you please tell me what this white board is made of ?
Hi, it's called a mono board I purchase from my framing supplier. I mainly use a acid free foamboard as backing but these mounted prints get shrink-wrapped and taken to an outdoor weekend market. Foamboard at the market tend to bow in the shrink-wrap over summer with the heat, mono board is more stable under those conditions.
