This is actually a BAD IDEA! It only gets most of the oil out and doesn't get any of the bottom sediment that collects at the bottom of the oil pan that would flow out the drain plug. A lot of people post these and you can buy them - but still a BAD IDEA.

i really hate grinding wheels, i usually use beltgrinder, grit36 is supreme very cool to see someone also doing the flat top edge, quite literally any socalled expert will round the top rather. great minds think alike, back when i learned to grind drills i quickly realized that flattening it rather than rounding had major benefits. i was also very confused how the drills i sharpened were better than freshly made high quality drill bits, i was never sure if it was really true, also very cool to see it proven. this video touches on a subject they never taught me at metalworking school, and outperforms any other expert video ive ever seen with concise and perfect production quality. haleluja.

Всё может быть и хорошо,но.... Ни в коем случае нельзя показывать людям которые смотрят это видео как Вы сверлите листовой металл держа его руками! Так делать нельзя,руками тонкий листовой металл при сверлении держать руками нельзя! Ну и все эти долгие,точные манипуляции в итоге не привели к значимому результату,стружка должна выходить из двух кананавок,а не из одной как у Вас. Вы получили только красивую заточку с маленькой перемычкой сверла🤷🏻‍♂️

Drill bits cut by rotating anticlockwise so why do you need to put an angle at the back side edge where it has no contact to what it cuts?

Я на УШМ точу руками на глаз. Нормально сверлит если сначало проходить мелким сверлом который стоит дешевле. Видео урок познавательный👍 Попробую более точно наточить. Кобальтовые сверла точить легче, не перегреваются.

О боже, еще и с идикаторной головкой обертывание сверла. Я с закрытыми глазами его заточу, и сделаю так чтобы либо стружкалом ломал металл или спиралью гнал металл.

задний угол завалил. Кромка долго не протянет. Особенно в нержавейку. Подрезание вершины. Вершина должна резать, а не ковырять. С твоей кривой подрезкой металл там размажет и скрошит вершину. Подрезать надо так, чтоб режущая кромка продолжалась в сторону вершины. Короче балбес ты.
