This deleted dialogue makes the movie a film meaning A deep creative Artistic well thought out story with thought provoking ideas , it would have been Great if this had all been part of the movie , it’s understandable why this was removed , Mass appeal to the public , by perceived financial success meaning Devoted people of Faith would not want to see The Lord Jesus Portrayed in this way leading to a protest of the movie , that’s probably why this was removed which was terrible because with this deleted content it actually reenforces the Christian message of All Humans a capable of being bad but should strive to be Good & be Good to each other , thank you Corporate decision making for ruining creativity

This is totally bogus. It's cool n all n I love Prometheus n all the lore but this fake script really makes no sense ... So they were trying to recreate the blood of their Lord Cuz they were going extinct??? Yeah ok. I would like to add primarily psychopaths and androids say this. The absence of moral constraints in them vs. the forced morality on those who feel it's inefficient is why. The reason those same beings don't feel the same as ants is because ants aren't killing people, whom they have great contempt for. What they failed to understand is that the drones only have predatory logic, but the pratoreons still have loyalty, and the queen still has a love for her children and will seek vengeance at the cost of her own capabilities to reproduce.

Just mentioning another movie doesn't mean they share a univiverse. It could be based on our universe in a science fiction future, where the alien franchise exists. Both having spaceships named prometheus might be a coincidink, because lots of spaceships fiction or real are named after mythological characters. Us navy, British navy, nasa, Stargate series also have ships named prometheus, but I doubt they share realities (besides the real ones that exist outside of scifi). Just being humanoid isn't the signature of the engineers, because plenty of other sci-fi franchises have that which do not share the same universe either. Nice video though, love the research and work that was put in. It was entertaining and I enjoyed it!

The Deacon might've been God in disguise. You see the Deacon was friendly intelligent humanoid and probably taught the engineers Math Science Farming Military Combat Astronomy and might've even first (before he died) came in contact with early humans and convinced the engineers to create human beings! Imagine though if human beings did this Teraform all the planets in our solar system and about 991 others - 1000 Worlds and the worlds were populated by humans that followed only one religion per world. Uranus - Palo Mayombe Pluto but being 100x bigger - Santeria Mars - American Orthodox Venus - Santa Muerte Mercury but Mercury being 100x bigger - the Cherokee religion. But also teraform all of the moons of the gas Giants The largest moon of Jupiter - Navajo religion The largest moon of Saturn - Zuni Religion Because if we did that we would be more like the engineers and would be one with nature a lot more our technology would be all the way different but at least we would be more associated with the concept of being more civilized

I just can't understand how anyone can bother with Alien anymore. First Alien and Aliens is on my absolute top. Alien 3 ruined all payoff of Aliens and then it has been a rough downhill ride. Then Prometheus came along and I was so excited. Ridley Scott and the fools that wrote Lost then proceeded to absolutely destroy the soul of the franchise. Critical drinker really hit the nail on the head with his review on it. Not only was it a badly written, dumb and over pretentious goop of a film. It ruined the shroud of mystery around Xenomorphs and the mysterious ship with jamming in clownish nonsense. Alien is gone. It perished after Aliens in 1986. None can do it right now because it has spun out of control.

That fully grown Alien being born could be an Alien morphing to it's next form like Praetorian or into a Queen we've not seen

They way the killed her off screen and just show her corpse in the state it was, was just un palatable. Even for a horror movie. Unnecessary.

If Ridley Scott wanted to make a film that could be understood, he had the time and budget to do so. Years and years after making this film, people are still filling in the blanks. It’s been a titanic failure.

The team did a lot of research on extraterrestrial life and our probable origin .....but too much data from multiple sources confused them and hence they went on deleting the most important part ..the engineer's conversation with the team

Okay you start off saying you have confirmed info by the writer/director but then go on with speculation, rumors and basically no evidence. First of showing Ripley in an interview that has no audio of the saying these things is a redflag to a BS narration. This whole thing is a little silly. If you watched this film, made it to the end with the Engineer scene, and somehow by that point still didn't pick up on the theming that humanity was a lost cause in his eyes and needed to be exterminated, the movie just isn't for you; go watch something with explosions, one-liners or Chris Pratt instead.

I mean, if they were engineers why would they be living in a kind of technologically simple environment?

So what I'm getting is that the reason they are seen as the "perfect organism" is an android said so. Seriously, damn near every trait that this video says the androids were impressed by are shared by most every predatory creatures in the world. So the "perfection" they're talking about is literally just that they are a species they can aim at other planets to kill everyone on it.

All of those endings mixed together would've been the perfect ending.
