- In today’s video, I’ll explain all predator types that exist in the extended predator universe, covering the ranking system and other aspects of the yautja society.

1. The Primitive Proto-Predator is a precursor of the classic predator that is briefly mentioned in the comic book Predator: Homeworld.
2. The ancient elder predator appears to be the intermediate link between the proto predator and the classic predator.
3. The classic predator is the iconic Yautja creature that first appears in the predator of 1987. Yautjas are about 7 and a half feet tall and are equipped with advanced weapon technology including bio helmet, Chameleon field cloak, ultra-sharp wrist blades, wrist computer and the plasma cannon which is an energy projector with the auto-aim technology. Predators have reptilian skin, infared vision, mandibles and dreadlocks that are speculated to be sensory organ.
Yautja society and culture is centered around the ritualistic hunt of dangerous species. Hunting xenomorphs occupies a special place in the predator world because of the rivalry between these species and the extraordinary hostility of xenomorphs which makes hunting them even more prestigious.
4. Un-Blooded Yautjas are the lowest cast in the predator hierarchy that includes those who are unexperienced in hunting and have not killed any xenomorphs .
5. Young Blood is the next yautja rank that consists of grown predators who haven’t killed their first xenomorph. In Alien vs Predator of 2004, we witness 3 young blood predators who engage in a battle with xenomorphs on their own for the first time in order to get their Blooded status.
6. Blooded predators is the next rank in the yautja hierarchy, which consists of predators who have gotten their first xenomorph kill and are now considered rightful members of their clan.
7. Once a blooded yautja killed enough exceptionally dangerous species and managed to survive, he’s allowed to joint the ranks of Elite predators who are considered the most skilled and dangerous wariors.
8. The Predalien is a xenomorph hybrid spawned from a predator host. A yautja that was impregnated with an alien embryo would spawn a xenomorph/predator hybrid.
9. The Elder is another rank in the yautja society. Elders rise from the rank of Elites for their unique collections of trophies and exceptional accomplishments in hunting and leadership.
10. The Clan Leader is one of the highest ranks in the yautja hierarchy. Elder predators can either challenge a current clan leader or be selected by their peers to this position.
11. Ancient is a cast of yautja that is comprised of individuals who lived over 1000 years surviving numerous hunts and battles.
12. Bad blood on the other hand are predators who severely violated the code of honour and were either banished or escaped from their clan to avoid the punishment.
13. The Enforcer is a special rank that consists of predators who are tasked to hunt not the most vicious alien organisms but the most notable bad bloods.
14. Berserkers or Superpredators is a clan of yautja which is believed to be comprised of bad bloods. Berserkers ruled the Game Preserve Planet and were notorious for abducting lifeforms from other worlds and carrying them to their planet in order to hunt them.
15. The Female predator is a rare type of yautja and there were only a few female specimen in the comics. The Matriarch is the title that a female yautja can hold which is the equivalent of a Clan Leader.
16. Predator King. Although yautja society is divided in clans, and the exact way clans can cooperate remains a mystery, Predator Kalakta was considered an equivalent of the leader of yautja race.
17. The Infected Predator is the yautja specimen that mutated as the result of the contact with the black goo in Fire and Stone comics.
18. The white hybrid is a yautja type from the comics created by a malfunctioned AI that combined DNA of humans, Xenomorphs and yautcha.
19. The Fugitive Predator is a yautja /human hybrid that appears in the Predator of 2018.
20. The four armed predator is a huge yautja specimen with increased strength and durability that appeared in the comic book predators surviving life.
21. The Hish-qu-Ten is the alternative Dark Horse representation of the yautja species that slightly differers from regular predators in terms of their appearance and honour system.
22. Alpha Predator is a special predator of the Hish-qu-Ten race who led the rebellion agains the Amengi, an insectoid race that tyranicly ruled over Hish-qu-Ten yautja.
23. Upgrade Predator is a genetically engineered hybrid designed to be the most powerful and deadly predator specimen.
24. Predator killer
The Predator killer is an advanced mechanical suit made with the predator technology and designed to be operated by a host. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I really wish Netflix would get permission for an R-rated Yautja series that goes deep into their culture and lore as well as what their daily life is like.

I like that I felt flattered when I noticed the Predators keeping Human Skulls as trophies. It's just such an honour to see that they think we're so formidable. It's only because of this channel that I have so much respect for this fictional species lol.

I love how respectable they made the Yautja. I don’t have much knowledge on the predator species as a whole but they seem to be incredibly honorable and maintain an elite warrior raise by advancing only those who show skill in hunting and combat. Super cool stuff. I wonder if they’d take offense to a human claiming the skull of a blooded predator that was defeated?
they would most likely let you use the fallen yautja''s spoils. then challenge you, then you die after several challenges
They are they typically won't hurt unarmed individuals or if your incapacitated or trapped, but the bad bloods will they have no honor and I think they would be offended cause they usually comeback and recover the bodies of there fallen comrades but will typically leave the person who defeated them a gift
I don't think they would, to be honest. If I can refer to "Prey", yes this is a spoiler so if you don't want to read this post then skip on down, Naru takes the primitive blooded predator's head at the end of the movie. To me if I was an Clan Leader I would show honor to this young Comanche Warrior for being able to take out a blooded Yautja.
@@VividShado I was surprised at that ending, cause it's a first on the series. Usually as Sean stated they come back and retrieve the fallen yautja. In the ending of Prey no one showed up.

Here’s my theory for Kalakta being a king. I think because he’s an ancient predator and the fact that he has a very high and prestigious reputation, most or some of the clans and maybe even the other elders unanimously looked up the Kalakta as their one leader. He probably wasn’t an official king, but just treated as one

Based on the description here, I'd have to agree. He's not actually a king, he's just the one that all or most of the clans would respond to should he call for their aid. Not terribly different from Taruuk Mak To from Avatar.
We need more good standalone predator movies to establish their lore and things like the alien series. I love the yautja but there’s nothing beyond them in their movies.
Actually, there is lore in the comics. As was referred to in this show. Now granted I will agree the lore is in mostly comics and not in live-action movies or even animation movies and that there should be more of this kind of lore being shown but nonetheless there is lore.

I always kinda liked the idea that there was a war between species, with one side creating xenomorphs as a bio weapon, and the other side selectively breading to create predators to combat them
This video made me want a predator game where you climb through the ranks. Have online mode for hunts and br modes and stuff.
Yeah, that would be dope. An online mode would honestly go crazy, we just have to wait and see if any developers are willing to carry out the idea.

A Predator game where all of the culture is explained and you just travel the universe collecting trophies would be amazing. Would be cool to move up in ranks as you battle more foes. A fighting system like the one in the Arkham games would be so cool
Man oh man perfection once again I wish you had more time to make a video like every week! I collected and read all the Dark Horse Predator graphic novels and comic books back in the 90s but none of these hybrids were ever in those issues thanks for the knowledge NOTHING like the AVP Universe ! :-)

The feral predator seemed the most like a basketball player. Slightly Leaner than other predators but still strong and on the taller side. Wished they would make a origin story of how they became what they are now.

I love this.. but, what about the stripes? The marks that start from the right ankle and go up to the top of the right thigh.. the from the top of the left thigh down to the left ankle...
Depending on the tribe from Yaucha Prime, they basically utilize zenomorph blood(acid) to inscribe each mark.
At the point that a Yaucha cries out, the stripes stop... and no matter who, or what, they attain as trophies throughout their lives, they can not EVER attain a higher rank than their level of ability to withstand pain, hence their rank within a tribe. One human, in the history of the Yaucha, attained total stripes... a woman.

Predator culture is freaking awesome. So many unanswered questions. I know there was a lot of negative criticism when they combined Alien and Predator but I thought it was genius and loved it and want more. Im very suspicious also that the predator could even be an actual E.T. that is here on our planet but that is another subject that needs much research and information presented to state my case. Also I thought AVP requiem could have been much better but Wolf was IMO the most bad a$$ predator in all of the movies!

Just thought, why does a species that prides itself in the purity of using ones primal insticts to hunt use a weapon that auto locks onto prey?
Just like the top esports players who use aimbots and cheats XD
They only get the plasma caster after killing a xenomorph in melee combat, so think of it as proof that you're skilled enough that even if you didn't have aimbot you would still be able to kill with ease.
I think that came down to the creators just thinking it was cool. they do a lot of dishonorable BS like killing while invisible, stabbing people in the back while invisible, using invisible tech, activating a nuclear bomb when they lose.
I've always thought this aswell kinda cheap on they're part in my opinion

I always liked to think of the Berserker trio in Predators as sort of hillbillies. Think about it, they’re big, mean and hunt using dogs for fun.

I definitely don’t see them being creations of the Engineers. I think they have a keen distaste for the Engineers, and from that came their ritual of hunting xenomorphs. Furthermore, I would argue that the Engineers are inferior warriors compared to the Predators, hence the need for the creation of an efficient killing machine, enter Xenomorphs who adopt deadly characteristics of their hosts.
Don't think engineers are warriors, they are more of towards science embracing knowledge & technology to fight their nemesis. Engineers created xenomorph to fight yautja race that wanted to invade and destroy engineers homeworld. Mishaps happened that xenomorph & yautja killed off engineers to extinction
Engineers are stronger and better warriors than yautjas. In Prometheus life and death comic an engineer easily annihilated a yautja and it took the collective effort of the humans and yautja to take down the engineer. Engineers are the superior species in the alien universe by far.

@@aswani_deva Prometheus is incorrect, the engineer was created by Bannon. Ridley Scott knows nothing about engineers and he just wanted to keep budget low, he changed engineer design to human like giant being and turned that elephant like face to helmet. Engineers can't really fight and don't have the strength of yautja, just gentle giant relying on organic biological technology. Had Bannon still alive with HN Giger together managed to film prometheus instead, they would have made it far greater than Ridley Scott boring wrong movies.
On one of the packaging for the predator figurine, it is stated that predators were just a regular species like any other, until a stronger species came and ensalved them for centuries, (or thousands of years, i cant remember) and evolved until one predator known as alpha predator started a rebellion now becoming the predators we know.

in the berserker clan one of the predators showed honor and fought in the sword fight
You say they only get the plasma caster after they kill a xenomorph but to start the hunt in avp they have to pick up the plasma caster from the crypt and scar is after the plasma caster badly even before he kills his first alien. so I think its part of the rite they get the plasma caster and then start the hunt. the hunt was interrupted and started early because the humans got there first.
They wouldn't let an unblooded start the hunt if they had the choice.

So about 7:00 or 7:02 in the video amongst the clan leaders trophy wall there appears to be a few comic book trophies. One looks like Batman, cyclops, the terminator, and I’m pretty sure he has Freddy Kruger’s claw as well. Anyone else notice this?
Oh thank god I'm not the only one who saw that, but I say it's Wolverines claws cause he only 3 and they're coming from his knuckles while Freddy had a glove of 4 blades for this fingers

I would love to see an open world predator game similar in lay out to Tom CLancy's Breakpoint. being able to customize your predator and work your way up to the elite of the elite hunters. That would be a game i could spend hours playing.

The predator killer concept, while looking ridiculous, actually makes sense and is more relatable to Soldier caste or the royal guard since these two predator types also wear full body armor immune to acid and they were known to carry destructive weapons different from those of hunters that were so powerful they were not to be used on a hunt
Mate your correct the ultimate predator is a bad blood because in my school vr game there’s a mission where you play as goalius and kill the ultimate predator under rustel ellion orders and in a cutscene the ultimate predator was able to properly talk and mentioned killing silver goalius sister nightmare moon and evox goalius parents
